i did it!! i had trouble with the battery, i used a hairdryer for heat, but maybe it did not get as hot as your hot plate, the only other snag was the red wire connection, it took me awhile. great video!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the hardest part of repairing this phone is carefully taking the back off and the thousands of little screws in the frame that are harder than the first one to remove. but this video really helped so thanks.
is it possible to take off w/o the heat gun and w/o that metal tool? cos im struggling to get it off without those...
@@julsius I used a hair dryer in place of a heat gun and the tools that came in the repair kit

Would a generic super glue work to finish up the repair or do you suggest only using the T-7000? Is there a difference in the results?
