It helps the kind of make a mental note of where you get stuff, but it also helps to lay it out in a particular manner so as to help you remember where you got it (depending how much there is); cars also tend to be like Puzzles, each thing really only has one place it'll fit, so even if you don't remember specifically, there will be some way to tell just by looking at it

Never, NEVER have I seen such a thorough detailing job in my life. I personally get high praise from friends and family for how well I know how to detail a car and even then I never reach this level of cleanliness. I've always wanted to make a career out of car detailing but idk how well that'd turn out, it's extremely time consuming and a costly thing for people who'd be paying for the service but regardless it's always something I've enjoyed doing. Like, there really is always at least one person in the world who will enjoy doing a job, and your love for getting stains out of car carpets is so wholesome, knowing someone is gonna get their car back as well as you could have done it because of how much pride you take in doing all this.
One thing I learned when detailing: a car may be clean, but it needs to look good too to get 5-star reviews. So, I would always go back at the end and "stripe" the carpet diagonally with the vacuum or extractor (just like when landscapers mow yards). Those alternating diagonal lines take a good detail job to the next level.... customers LOVED it.
Love how detail oriented you are. Saw this other guy give up on a carpet stain after just 2 or 3 passes, suggesting the owner just cover it up with a floor mat or replace the carpet. He was still getting dirt up and I think he could’ve gotten it out. I also like how you don’t us all purpose cleaner on everything

Well, keeping food away from them would be a good start. Anytime food gets anywhere near kids' hands, the danger of flinging always looms. It's almost as if food is made a projectile simply by having a kid touch it, right down to the ricochet noises.

This by far has to be my favourite episode as it gives nostalgia, our old Honda odyssey, we had it as a family car for upwards of 10 years and it is by far the car I have the fondest family memories in. This episode brings back some really good memories I'd forgotten of my dad teaching me how to clean the outside and do inside detailing on Van's :)
Oh man, my family used to have a 2004 Honda Odyssey. That van could take on anything! like ski trips, cottage trips, camping, mountain bike races, me learning to drive, etc. The 2006’s interior looks almost exactly the same, so watching this was like watching you clean OUR van, and it brought up so many good memories. You did an amazing job with it, and I hope the no eating rule got enforced after that!
Probably 1-2 days or more because he needs to get the car at a time when someone actually wants to get up, talk to the dude to figure out what he wants, drive to the location, getting tools and cleaners out, getting camera(s) out, evaluating what to get done, actually cleaning and moving around the camera, detailing, checking his work, camera shots, delivering the car to the customer, put tools away and cleaning them, evaluating footage, editing, uploading, and done. The actual cleaning and detailing took 10 hours as he said in the video. All of the steps I said are what he MIGHT do, not what he does.

To be honest, if someone cleaned my car my reaction would probably just be "thanks, looks good"... i mean, they know that the car is going to look great, they allready exprct that, its not like he is their friend elwho is suprising them... they payed him and exprct a good job.

For serious though mine has a bleach stain because I haul laundry to the laundromat and my son stomped on the bleach bottle.
I figured, my mom used to have a van and I remember the bleach stains on the floor of it. I figure it came from the same sort of place.

Honestly i watch to hear his voice- these videos calm me down so much and have made my bad days slightly better days. Its so soothing ti watch and listen that i sometimes fall asleep cuzz im so relaxed... LOTS OF LOVE! 💕

It’s so kind of him to clean the parts that nobody will ever think to check or realized he cleaned, like the areas underneath the chair clips in the floor (I don’t know the name of them), it’s just so sweet of him to put in that extra work and it makes him all the more amazing, thank you dude for how hard you work on every vehicle you take in
That was the most amazing part to me. the owner will *never* see under the seat clips, but he made sure they were clean. wow.
Yet i believe most detailers only do the obvious spots and get paid the same amount as thedetailgeek
