Meeting #4 | Hunting and Advanced Technology (HAT) Working Group

ICYMI: Idaho Fish and Game Hunting and Advanced Technology Working Group (HAT) met via Zoom and in person on January 4, 2025.
• Welcome all and share an update of comments submitted via the online feedback form
• Continue to provide the opportunity for everyone to begin to get to know each other
• Receive presentations about:
o The results of the statewide survey conducted by IDFG to solicit input from the broader
community about topics under consideration by the Working Group, including input specially
focused on what technologies the public thinks the Working Group should address
o Harvest trends and other information taken into consideration by IDFG when developing
seasons to accomplish management objectives
o Enforcement - including what is currently legal and illegal and what is enforceable
• Provide the opportunity for Working Group Members to discuss the information that has been
presented and their reactions to that information
• Evaluate the meeting and identify next steps to continue moving forward.
