    Hey. Randy,.
So glad you went to barrel aging! It works magic! I'm fixing to filling a 10 litre barrel of bourbon. The first barrel rocked! Second will be better! Keep up the good work!

I watched all 3 episodes of the bourbon, I wish there was a part 4, showing the finished product, and how long u aged it with the oak stick!

Yeah...even though his VIDS are good, alot seem to be inconsistently complete, like getting up to fermentation then a taste test finish. I don't know how thorough he will be when posting. Not a consistent step procedures, there is always a ohh yeah I added sugar, more water, decided to?, or not even a follow-up, or a mention of if he is deciding to let it sit for a while, didn't work out, a finish to a mash 10 episodes later or just searching his channel and find out he finished under a totally off title. I don't care if its 5 parts to a project...just be consistent. Can't tell you how much I search his playlist for a Mash Recipe result.

Is there a follow up video for this? How long did you let it age and was it good?

Randy do you prefer the barrel aged over chips or other aging woods? I’m not getting those sweet notes from sticks so thinking of trying a barrel

Where are you storing your barrel?
I know it's winter here in the US. I'd keep that barrel by a window that gets sunlight.
That way it can get the warm sunshine of the day, and the cold chill of the night. Temp swings...
    Cheers Randy!

Yes I have in in a unheated part of the brew house, let the temp swings do it's magic.
      Cheers!!

@@stillworksandbrewing No need to apologize. Just wanted to hear if you had a good or bad result. Thinking about getting a barrel myself.
