What about depreciation recapture upon disposition of the asset? Will the asset still be subject to recapture if sold by the taxpayer? Would the milage depreciation adjustment also apply and generate recapture tax?
Great video Boris. Is the strategy you outline here for a "personal car" (emphasis on the word "car") more or less advantageous than using your business to buy a Section 179 6,000+ pound SUV/truck that is used >50% for business? Seems like the latter would be more advantageous from a tax perspective.
What about that issue of taking depreciation on an asset that is not owned by the business? What is your source for why you would be able to add as a business asset?
Hey Boris i'd love to revamp your videos for free to show you how i could improve the retention and the style.i've generated thousands of views for my clients Best Regards Ahad
