Lovely Llegros Darling Doggies Extraordinary Enthusiasts Fabulous Filming And a Vanden Plas. The P4 I respect enormously for its forward thinking approach. The P5 I love immensely and would gladly own one. The Allegro I will have no ill said about. They look good, they drive well, they're comfortable, economical and full of character. Awesome, loved this.
On my other channels a few have gotten small jump packs that surprisingly work! Always good to have jump leads, but this is also good! Peggy does look gorgeous, just like yourself Alex! Always nice to see someone young driving a classic. Lovely Vanden Plas!
Another great video. Nice to see all the allegros. Yours looks the best in orange. I had one years ago in the same colour. I didn’t think the white looked good. Keep up the good work.
The allegros are lovely! But I lOve my minor and my 214 SLi 16 VALVE 🤣 and they both sneaked into that meet 🤣 I can only assume we all have the same car fondness!
Those 038 batteries were never great the 049 was the upgrade but I just extended the threaded rods and used a piece of plywood and an 065 cavalier battery on my 1500,always started after that!
Well Alex, I'm amazed you havn't got a 'Starter Pack' ! They are brilliant - you'll have to invest in one. Looks like you had a good day there - thanks for sharing. Take care X X
@@Car_and_classic_lover I bet they go very well. I never understood why the Vanden Plas was only a 1500 when they had the 1750 there in stock. Back in the 80's, a mate of mine had a 1750 with flat suspension. He said it handled better like that. He used to get it charged up for the MOT and then let it down again afterwards. That car had a suprising turn of speed!
@@paulbennell3313 Yes it is strange. You'd think that the fastest 1750 estate would have come with a manual option and yet you could only get an automatic. Agree with the vanden plas engine size. The 1750 would have made a load of difference compared to the 1500👍
That looked a great day out! That Minor looked like it had a great road trip down too. I can't believe how far it travelled! Nice turnout of Allegros too. I'm so glad more Allegros are being saved and put back on the road. Also, How many cars does Colin have? Every time i see him hes in a different car haha Great video as always!😎👍
How can my dad join the allegro club ?, he's got 1978 super 1300 with 33000 with paperwork to prove it and it's never been welded its mint the engine bay is polished like the outside,

Thank you Sean !

What a great spares day. Really good selection of Allegro bits and bobs. It was lovey to see the Morris Minor.

Great entertainment, some lovely Allegro's and a fantastic array of spares.

Great to see Peggy out with her friends Alex.
Hi , thanks for showing. Enjoy your BL motor . 👍
I have had my Allegro fix. I am a happy man.
I have to say Peggy's in spectacular condition! You already know this. But in that colour (which I love) there's nowhere for rot to hide.
Thank you so much 🥰 x
Oh Alex I am so tempted to get an Allegro. Not sure how TeeCee would feel about it though :)

I have one in my work van At home but didn't take with me to garage lol
I’d love an Allegro estate automatic (if they made one).. BTW Alex, I’ve fitted an isolator switch to my P6 battery .. (Phil)
I would imagine they did an auto option on the estate but I should think finding one now would be a challenge.
@@paulbennell3313 the series 3 1750cc estates were all autos i believe, but sadly I think thats about it for the autos.

I don't know what is with Allegro Vanden Plass' or any VP modification. You take a everymans car and "Rolls" it up. Totally irrational, but I love it.
Did I hear a few rattling timing chains on start ups, or is it something else? Not on Peggy of course....
Nice video Alex.
