Hi. I was wondering if you have any tips or tactics for early season deer bowhunting? We live in the foothills of the Oregon coast range, on an oak savannah ranch, and it has been super dry. On my trail cameras I have been seeing bucks only at night. if you have any tips that would be great!
So with early season it’s very hard to be successful. If you’re hunting on a ranch you can use game cameras and a stand or blind with bait. They change habits when they rub velvet off so even if you have one patterned they can be even harder to kill after shed velvet.

Problem I've had is my broadheads are slightly dull from knock tuning, and I think it made a difference on Elk
