In short:
Verification refers to whether you are doing procedures correctly in every phase,
but Validation is done finally when you complete the software and you check it is working according to user requirements and does it meet the specifications made initially.

You can say that the white box testing is varification testing and black box testing is a validation testing...
But Unit testing, integration testing and system testing are done in validation.
