We lived near Dauphin Island for over a year and never visited...so we decided to go three years after we left. The history, wildlife, plant life, and scenery make this a great place to visit, even in the winter.
Looks like that might have been an Opossum not a rat or a raccoon. LOL! Thanks for taking the extra "info" steps for those of us who have never been there!
We've come across an opossum before and this didn't quite look like one. It was such a small freakish semi raccoon thing. Just glad we saw it at a distance. ha ha
Well, since I just subscribed, Im trying to catch up by watching a few videos at a time. They are so good ! Love this one at the fort, along with the hike and the "almost" alligator on the side of the trail ! I dont blame you one bit Suzannah, that did look like an alligator, I would have had a heart attack also !! lol It looked like a fun trail. I love birds and am a amature bird watcher and would have had a blast on that trail !! Love your "natural" video's, you make us feel very welcome tagging along with you guys !! Thank you Vicky
Dauphin Island looks very cool. Seems like Corbin is starting to take after his Dad. And in Suzannah’s defense, that first “gater” looked on camera to be one too. Lol. Thanks for sharing. Peace and Safe Travels -Craig
I will say that I'm definitely still learning. It's not as easy as a GoPro and there are a lot more buttons. ha ha. Most of our videos are going to be a mix from now on. Just love the depth of field and what the Nikon gives us. Hope you guys are doing well out in Texas. -Chris
Ha ha. We went back and forth between the big 3 but had experience with Nikon. And then when Chris got his hands on the Z6ii it was all over. It just shoots so well!! Thank you. Still learning and getting used to it.

He really is taking after me more and more. It’s like having a little mini-me around at times!
We noticed a difference in the camera and the filming technique at the beginning. We have never been there. Great video!

You had me hooked at the opening! 🤣
We like to hear that!
Don’t ya know you need a Sony or Canon for UA-cam?!?!? JK, we’re Nikon shooters, too. There just aren’t a lot of us. 😁 Footage looks great! 👍🏻
