BMW F Series no start ?
BMW F series key programming to FEM or BDC module.
Purchased a used or new BDC or FEM module car wont start? ( also known as CAS module or BCM body control module)
Did a software update and car wont start?
Battery died and car wont start?
Car wont communicate with scann tool?
All of the above symptoms must be confirmed with you tech that BDC or FEM is the cause of your no start.
Some models of F series switched from CAS ( key security module ) to FEM and BDC keys are now stored inside FEM and BDC Module this will cause a no start after replacing a donor FEM BDC module.
FEM stands for Front Electronic Module
BDC stands for Body Domain Controller
FEM is used on
1 Series - F20, F21 (and F52 in China)
2 Series - F22, F23, F45, F46, and F87 (M2)
3 Series - F30, F31, F34, F35 and F80 (M3)
4 Series - F32, F33, F36, F82 and F83 (M4)
BDC is used on
X1 - F48 and F49
X2 - F39
X5 - F15 and F85
X6 - F16, F86
Mini - F54, F55, F56, F57
What causes the FEM or BDC to go bad.
1 Programming keys or performing a software update on a FEM or BDC module with cheap scann tool or no stable voltage charger while programing.
2 Flooded ( since the FEM or BDC module is located on right side kick panel makes it very venerable to flooding )
3 Electrical short.
4 Performing a mileage correction and locking it out.
5 Bad battery or Jump starting.

how do you make the donor fem virgin? I dont see any video of it in your channel? anyway, my brother F30 having issue with crank but no start. I have a bmw explorer tool and try to synch the dme with the cas/fem but error pops up something to do with no communication. Does it mean that the fem is damaged? and how do I know the fem is faulty?

I tried to program a second key to my BMW x5 (f15) and now the BDC doesn't communicate with the car at all. The LAUNCH computer I tried to program the key with did some sort of ECU upgrade as part of PreProcessing step and it completed it but at the end I got a message saying a file is lost, check if car is ok. The BDC has no communication with the car whatsoever, and there is a blinking light from the Start/Stop Engine button, with a bunch of error codes. Any ideas how to resolve?

i tried adding xm sat radio to a new/used head unit in my 335i f30 2014 using esys. but.. . still no xm ,and new headunit wont get radio or cd play anymore. but.. could this have damaged the fem? i have scanner and get a code 804033 cycle protection FEM module. i do need to replace a sensor and driver side comfort access antenna(waitin on those to arrive now) so iv found that all these modules, sensors are tied to the ecu or fem in these cars. u think replacing those 2 will take off code 804033? no prob crankin car/driving and no cel light on dash. only get code using scanner.
and. is there a way i can update fem using esys to latest software?
YOU CAN TRY DOING SOFTWARE UPDATE IT MIGHT FIX YOUR ISSUES

Ciao, puoi aiutarmi? ho una BMW f36, la centralina non va più, ne ho comprata un'altra e ho provato a fare come hai fatto tu nel video, ma quando collego alla macchina mi dà ancora il telaio originale, e non quello della nuova centralina comprata.. cosa posso fare? ho dissaldato gli EEPROM 95128 e il 95256 dalla centralina originale e gli ho saldati nella centralina nuova.. ma la macchina non da segni di vita.. non so più come fare, non legge la chiave, non legge nulla
Hi, can you help me? I have a BMW f36, the control unit does not work anymore, I bought another one and I tried to do as you did in the video, but when I connect to the car it still gives me the original frame, and not that of the new control unit I bought .. what can I do? I unsoldered the EEPROM 95128 and 95256 from the original control unit and I welded them into the new control unit .. but the car shows no signs of life .. I no longer know how to do it, it does not read the key, it does not read anything

Ii have a 2017 M240i pre-lci and it only came with one key fob. I purchased a brand new one that wasn’t pre-programmed from BMW is this the service I need to use to get the second key fob to work on my car?
Yes we can write a key to fem original key that starts the car will still be needed

*Does anybody here knows how to clone/code a BMW ELV unit? That's the steering lock module. Looked everywhere but everybody seems to replace them with an emulator!!!*
I run into a Mercedes with steering lock problem, no start. The dealer doesn’t sell the elv, you have to roll the car there to the sealer and have the dealer install and program(registered owner only, because of the security reasons). That’s why all you see is aftermarket emulators.
I mean till the car to the dealer for that problem
