Safety was an optional accessory in those days. My father ran a mill powered by a horizontal 2-stroke Crossley diesel engine. Open crankcase, open camshaft, no valve covers. Everyone just walked by, children too. And never an incident.
Good old Benton Harbor Michigan machine. Clark had so many innovations to their name in heavy equipment. Especially transmissions and axles. Sucks they couldn’t survive the 80s recession.
That's what I started on years ago 17 years old, always had one half flat tire on the front and zero brakes. Had to park your truck uphill at an angle or you were gonna run your truck over or flip the loader. We were always stoned back then too.
Great old workhorses, but I don’t miss any of them , especially considering the season that is approaching once again. Thanks yet again Justin.👍👍🇺🇸
I was surprised to see a Cummins, most of the ones in my area were all Detroit's, Great Video
Excellent documentary once again PA
👍👍👍
The old loader looks like it would still put in a shift as a backup...
Getting in and out of that thing is treacherous , great video Justin .

I ran the rear wheel steer model for a short time in 1973
weren't this license made in japan by TCM ?
Looks like it could be dangerous getting in and out of the cab if it was slippery😮
I've run worse. Blessings and Thanks
