The Rotary is built on an entirely different DSP platform with next-level fidelity and by a team of engineers with an additional decade or so of experience. In terms of feature set, the Rotary offers speed ramping and a knob to control an onboard preamp drive circuit (to emulate the preamp in a proper Leslie). It also has stereo in and out for a more immersive and realistic spinning speaker effect in the room when used with 2 amps or into a stereo rig of whatever type. The Darkside or Rotosonic or Dyno My Roto offerings from Keeley's previous line were all mono and did not offer speed ramping or "brake" functionality outside bending down and spinning a knob. The I Get Around pedal is nearly the same as this Rotary, except that the Rotary is kind of a V2 of that circuit with a redesigned board for reduced noise/distortions and an added 3rd mode on the mid-boost toggle which lets you choose a few eq voicings. I'd say if you just need a rotary sound sometimes, the Darkside does great and fills a bunch of other roles too. If you're really after proper rotary sounds and functions, the new Rotary is tough to beat and definitely worth looking at more closely.
