Hi great video on vermeil jewelry. I understand that different countries have different definitions of what constitutes vermel jewelry. The base metal is always sterling silver but the minimum thickness of the gold layer varies county to country. The US regulations and definitions are set by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Canada has a different (lower minimum layer of gold) requirement to be defined as vermeil. Being that Mejuri is a Canadian company what standard is followed for the vermeil jewelry being that it’s sold in the US Market? Thanks!
