  • I think this was the perfect "groad" ride: local, quiet roads, gravel roads, trails, single track, hike-a-bike, pastries and iced coffee. Did this ride in the summer and was very pleased with the variety of routes I was able to plan out with some advanced prep on @komoot. I know there are a lot of apps out there; and for my needs Komoot ticks all the boxes.

      @@georgemacheel2039 I use Rene Herse Hurricane Ridge Endurance. I’m running tubeless. I also have inserts. But those are because I rode Unbound 2023 and used them for the rough stuff. They’re 42s. Love the tires. I have second wheel set I use for more casual commutes and roads. Those other wheels run Pirelli Cinturato M which are also great.
      Can’t go wrong with the either. But hands down the Rene Herse are amazing. And the sidewalls are reinforced.
