@@Funky1ism Sorry to bother you.. I am in the market for a groovebox type.. was looking at MPC one/live II, but had also seen the Akai Force, just wondering what pushed you towards the Force? The live II has my attention mostly because of the speaker and battery, so i can just so my thing on the couch or in the garden, but if the Force is really that great.. It did look cool in the few demos i watched.
I strongly disagree on your point right here, saying that because it is techno it is "real music" and i assume that your opposing it to sampling globally from the hip hop culture, he doesn't do nothing different right there than a hiphop producer does on the mpc to make a beat, except he's using the mpc as a sequencer here, and don't get me wrong i love techno and house, but they use sampling too bro like everyone, and to say that this is the "first" mpc video where you ear actual music is an insult to the culture and legacy the mpc brought to music throughout the years, i'm 100% sure that your vibing everyday on beats made with an mpc
@@lresnolus7192 please dont get me wrong, not only i m not against hip hop, i am a hip hop and hip hop sampling fanatic, from the 80s till now. What sometimes bugs me is that a lot of musicians tend to use the same sample libraries all over again, at the risk of starting to sounding cliche. The MPC legacy and culture will live on forever in my opinion, and my life wouldnt be same without Future Shock or Low End Theory and countless others records made by musical geniuses. I never meant to disrespect the music that I love, nor the instruments that helped its creation trough the decades.
@@aunmaspobre of course, I personally go and buy records at record store, it's sure that the splice samples and other mainstream audio banks are flooding the hip hop scene nowadays, I even often found sample already used in mainstream music on splice ( I juste tried it few month ago). I strongly agree
okay, so... I was given an MPC Live from friend who didnt vibe with it, and I've been researching it for like a month, and this is the first time I've ever seen anyone demonstrate anything actually "Live" on an MPC. Thank you
Damn this was super nice. I make "hip-hop" style beats (rhythmically speaking) but I'm much more into synths and the tricks and experimental aspects of the various forms of electronic music and this video did a lot more for me than most of the sample chop videos because I don't chop samples in that way (besides one shots or things I play on keys or synth). Good stuff.
i luv the way you create music from Raw 2 Whole..I just bought the MPC..for all i've seen from yutub,,only you that made me mesmerize..you show something complicated looks simple..sounds lovely not much "garnish" not to look "tough guy" on that music, but flawless..you not pro bro,,u were an Artist grade. loved from Indonesia🇮🇩
Really great example, man! I always assumed that I would just ignore those plugins entirely and use it as a regular MPC hub. That sounded good, though 👍
Awesome video! I wanted to try out the automation mode like you did on the hats at the beginning, but it seems it doesnt react when I turn the knobs to change the AMP envelope while in automation mode.. someone who knows what goes wrong ?
VERY nice .. only thing I had issue with was I couldnt really see where you were in the track ( compared to MK3 ) .. but the results speak for themselves ..
The technique/steps demonstrated apply to any current MPC, as they all use the same software. I have an MPC Live II and only the location of buttons is slightly different.
Can I say thank you for doing this. I’ve played all these how to use videos and it’s so fucking boring. What are these people can’t make it all about them before they even touch the unit! So, when I just see using it and it sounds cool, it makes me wanna buy. Thanks man!

Good to see somebody on youtube demo-ing a house/techno track on the mpc instead of mostly hiphop..now i am happy i ordered one.
Right? Everyone and there uncle is using these for hip hop. That's cool and all... nice to see someone be different and do some house /tech
Of course Toddy Terry and a host of other DJs started making house and Detroit techno on mpc’s.
Love it!!
Have to come back at my post...still love this tune, but i cancelled the MPC One and got a Akai Force instead, wich is also a beast!

The first MPC video I see where actual music is being made, shows the true potential of the instrument. Great job!
what a weird comment
