A few things: 1. You're probably not loading the outside tire when you go through the corners, so make sure you lean to the outside of the kart when turning. 2. The tire compound was probably wrong for the temperatures on that day, as they appeared to never warm up properly. 3. You need smoother throttle control coming out of the corners. 4. Learn to use the rear brake with just the right amount pressure to steer the kart through the tight corners. Experiment with a light quick jab on the brake pedal to learn what the rear of the kart will do just before the corner. These are NOT entertainment karts, they require skill, so learn them and try not to get too excited, as that makes for bad driving. Smooth driving wins the day and sometimes wins the race.
Extremely impressive for a first time, you got to speed really fast in only one day and not to mention you were really pushing yourself to the limit there. I’ve never seen a first timer go all out and use every single millimeter of the track and doing the mini-lock thing for the brakes
Thank you so much bro!! These words really mean a lot to me, and I am super gratefull for your support!!😁👊 I think driving a prokart for a few times really helped me to get ready for driving this beast for the first time as well...
I have to say very good for your first time. You’re already fairly good on the brakes and pretty smooth, building the right habits. Honestly a lot better than i did my first time in a racekart. Keep it up bro!
For a first time it looks really good. Something for you to think about is your hand placement and it will change your life man. Right now your holding your hands very far down on the steering wheel wich makes you vulnerable if someone bumps in to you or if you bump in to someone, if your hands are low on the steering wheel and you have rough contact you will very easily lose control of the kart but if your hands are placed 10-2 you can keep that control of the kart without spinning out (90% of the top international drivers do this and it can help you to drive more aggressive). At first you will get very tired in your triceps because your not used to it but in the long run its the absoulte best option. Look at videos online about "where to place your hands in karting" and take help from them. Good luck in your racing career 👍👍
TYSM man!!!😁 I really apreciate these tips. I will try to find out more about it, and spend my time to learn it on the track! Hopefully it will make a difference!💯
Nice video! Last month I drove my rotax max for the first time at Karting des Fagnes at Belgium. I shared the same emotions, the insane power is so much fun. I laughed the exact same way once I felt the rpm's rising. I felt very connected to the kart, only in braking zones I was scared to lock up the rears and spin out. So I know what to work on. I started the day with a 1.10, and after 3 sessions I did a 1.01. My goal was to hit 1min or sub 1min. Still way of the pace but I was proud with how quick I was learning. Keep up the driving and great videos!
Hey man! Tysm for the support!😁 For sure driving a rotax for the first time is so much fun! Great to hear you enjoyed it as much as I did, and you really improved on your driving then! Wish you the best, lets keep it up!!💯👊
At least two spins (first corner directly) and a crash. Thats not how u should start..... But what tyres are These? Looks like rental Kart tyres made out of stone....
when i drove the first time this summer and sadly the only time right now the speed was crazy and i managed to be only 3 tenths off one of the drivers in rotax senior and he was the owners son
Why does it have the non evo power valve and exhuast, but the rest of it looks like the brand new evo? Gotta love driving on cold maxxis sports tho, absolutely impossible hahah
@@Racing_Milan In Australia at least, the non evos have an all silver cylinder head, but yours is red, which only the evos have here - idk if it's different in Europe but I was guessing it had been upgraded to the Evo but the rest had been left with the old non Evo stuff
@@Racing_MilanI also run the non evo btw, I'm usually fastest on track out of the Maxxis runners, it's a little slower on the straights but if you aren't going against the absolute top tier drivers you'll be able to overtake them
Your in a similar boat to me. You make good videos and your a karting driver. I really enjoyed this video but a few things to work on when your driving is to make sure that your hands are more stable and smooth and also to have a straight posture while leaning to the outside tires when you are cornering. Also make sure that your arms are straight as well and not bent. But for your first session that was not bad at all. I can tell that you have a real love for the sport. Keep pushing and your dreams will come true. Much love bro!
Thank you so much bro!!! Reading this really makes my day!!😃 I am super happy that you enjoyed the video! I really apreciate the tips, and I will try to work on it as soon as I can! Comments like these motivate me even more to chase my dream! Thanks!!!🙌
Thxxx man!!! Nogmaals bedankt daarvoor!🙌💯
one thing i would say is ur hand placement try to have both hands at the same position as u will be able to be smoother and do the corner in one turn in.
Echt heel erg bedankt daarvoor!!😁
Amazing content, I'm saving up for my first kart, I'm planning on getting a rotax also. Btw what trailer are you using, I need to purchase one and yours looks decent :)
Thx bro!!! I really apreciate the support!😁 It's great that you want to start karting as well!💪🔥 Starting in a Rotax is a good choice! He also made a box on the front of the trailer, so that we could take everything with us. Mayby you could search for "karting trailer" or something like that. I am thinking about making a video of a tour troughout the garage, then I could also show everything about the trailet as well!👍🏻 If you have any more questions, let me know!

Did nobody tell you to warm those tyres up first?! Good effort though. Maybe you'll be ready for a fast kart after a while. I'm sure you know Superkarts will do twice that speed!
@@Racing_Milan You're off to a good start. I was racing a 250cc, water cooled 2 stroke gearbox grass kart for many years. No need to warm the knobbly tyres, but an absolute handful! All the best for your future racing!
