Omg! I am glad to see this video. I can relate so well to the video. 100 USD is never enough to buy a month foodstuff! It's really expensive here. Great video btw🧡
Just happened across your vlog earlier. Interesting and yes prices have gone up seriously in Dominica. I agree that we are getting less for our money now due to inflation. I noted what you said about shopping for affordable items as opposed to shopping for what you like regardless of cost. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing more.
It is all about smart shopping. Smart shoppers. There are cheaper market vendors, even a trip to Morne Prosper and other country area, you can get veggies and so at good prices and save alot more. There are supermarkets that sell the same products and cheaper. LindoMart is a good choice. It is all about shopping smart.some of us buy stuff that makes no sense or unnecessary. You get a basic pay why go picking up all sort of expensive food stuff and things. Nothing wrong in treating yourself but some of us over treat
Recently found your channel & love seeing your perspective of home 😊 The way I gasped hearing those prices 😅 definitely shop around first when you go to the market. $100 is like the new $20 sadly 🥹 Thanks so much for sharing.
girl, u cannot go by witchurch to buy things to check cost of living, withcurch has its own prices, they on a different planet by themselves. learn to go by issa and by greens as is town side you be
Right! I was about to say the same thing. Whitchurch is one of the most expensive supermarkets here. You need to go to Greens supermarket, Issa & maybe Astaphans
FRANKLY THE PRICES ARE REASONABLE OK EVERYWHERE IS NOW EXPENSIVE DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR EVEN TEH FRENCH ISLA?NDS HAVE GONE EXPENSIVE BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT STILL CHEAPER THAN DOMINOICA OK BE HAPPY...
I just run across your vedeo, I find the prices are totally ridiculous almost sound like you are being rob without a pistol my Sister. Every thing you touch is $5 and $10 why is it so expensive for ground provisions for in a country that is so fertile why is basic foods so expensive. I am not a stranger making this observation ,I think the cost of living and the earning income are so far apart it's a criminal offense on the working poor.
Same mastiff? I used to buy directly from the bakery, but they get hard when in the fridge, and that's the problem. I always have to eat them almost immediately, max by the next day. I'm not a fan of the local slice bread that I've tried except if Kraver has slice bread, which would also be expensive.

Never enough. Thank you so much Mercy
When you are at the market walk around first if you have time and then start purchasing.
I’m not a big fan of going to the market. Some people aren’t nice so I just go to the first person who has what I want and get out of there.
