i think the secret with haze rn is veil walker; the issue with her rn is that she's kind of just worse wraith that builds the same items if you entirely prioritize gun damage, so making her roaming speed that much faster actually gives her a niche imho
Right, but haze isnt wraith. She gains bullet capacity as she levels up and her smoke bomb gives insane healz and run speed. She has a fun a highly deadly dagger on short cool downs too. So abilit 1-3 are focus/hunt. 4 is great with unstopable in team fights
That Mo player has failed his purpose. Bullying the Haze is my only goal when playing MoKrill. It should be 'buy unstoppable or never ult again', when Mo is on the enemy team, smh

just a tip: haze total ammo scales with spirit power, so instead of buying extended mag you could buy some spirit itens such as Ammo Scavenger or Mystic Reach to your ult
i dont take the game seriously nor do i play it competitively lol. sometimes i will buy them if needed but im just here to have a fun and silly time :3
@@exzyle_ I don't really think clicking a 1.25k healbane or reactive is all that competitive /gen That said, most people I see play don't tend to buy much counter stuff beyond armor and maybe something their build pre-highlights like slowing hex on warden^^ Heck, when I see most peeps click 2-3 buttons it's when everyone and their mum is having a team-huddle to beat that one char that is owning the entire lobby 😭😭
@@LampDoesVideogame thats kind of a defeatist mindset imo. there's nothing forcing them to add these abilities to the game and there are ways to accomplish similar results using methods that don't take away as much engagement from the players at the other end of the ability. shutting down your opponent should feel more strategic than just pressing the button that shuts down your opponent. getting hit by the "stop playing" button is way worse of a feeling then feeling like you got outplayed because with the latter, you feel like you tried and can learn something from the experience.
@@psigreen3864 The abilities in this game are very powerful so of course you would need some way of mitigating their power level. Especially if you are relying on certain abilities to outplay opponents like haze ult. Well you could just make the abilities less powerful and then there would be no need to reduce their strength but that just makes it a another shooter.
@@psigreen3864 stuns are fine; you cannot bring up fighting games without bringing up the entire design philosophy of counterplay and how present it is in mobas fighting zoners aren't fun as a rushdown character, but that's different somehow? more importantly, fighting games have had stuns and mash-out states for decades now, with varying degrees of success and bullshit associated, but they were always present
@@eirin481 you make a good point. fighting games have had them for a while. i meant moreso that since fighting games have had these things for so long that you would think that community outcry would have taught designers how it is unfun. but the other point you bring up is also good. it really does just depend on a lot of factors that are more nuanced than just "no more playing". what makes the grabs in smash bros any different than a standard stun in a moba? it's important to factor in the negativity bias when it comes to pvp game design, but it's obviously inevitable when one person has to lose and one person has to win. one would have to argue that stun mechanics tilt that bias _too far_ towards the negative, which is an argument I am not equipped to make.

nah just buy attack speed and let ur passive carry as it does at least 1.5x of ur weapon dmg on top, so just spam slide and spray

why do game designers never learn from fighting games that abilities that prevent someone from playing the game aren't fun?
