Great demo and playing!, Mayones webpage should have you on their front page but they don't even list your name or videos anywhere on their webpage, big mistake from them
I have two 6 string hydras, one hard tail one with the Sophia trem, both are by far the best guitars I’ve played and owned in 25 yrs of playing. Fantastic playing, and beautiful mayones hydra you have there.
I just speechless when you start playing , this guitar look beautiful and sound awesome .. I know that this guitar is from Poland I am from Poland ✌live in Manchester
Such amazing tones and playing as always Alex man, always such a treat to hear!! I’m glad you’re digging your new guitar, it looks/sounds awesome. Thanks so much from me- hope to see you soon 😉🎸💥👍
Alex, that guitar is just a very cool looking instrument and your playing just gets better and better the licks at the beginning was just crazy good anyway love what you do great job always 👍
Fantastic looking and sounding guitar Mr.H. It looks really fun to play. Cant wait to see and hear your upcoming music with this bad boy. Purple is the best colour. I love it.... Peace
Congrats!!! Sir Alex, Knight Of The Strings.......Slayer of the fret board......Bender of Sound.......and Mystic Ruler of Guitar Realms. This instrument surly compliments the greatness that is you. 👊 ...........and the color is SICK TOO!!😃
Beautiful that seems unreal... I love headless guitar and your models are superb. Then.. I already know that she's ready to destroy all your jazz gigs...😮😂 Great Alex!
Alex you're kill'n the guitar.. Sounds like you keep adding more tools to your arsenal.. Sweeps like Gambale, Legato like Holdsworth... You're not fair man !!! 😡 🙂
Noob question, any particular reason to bolt on construction? I mean for this price normally you'd expect neck through. pd: that legato skills, just tasty!
Not at all mate, it's a great question. One to go into at length another time but from my experience I'd say I actually prefer bolt ons tone tbh... There's something about it that just works imho 👍🎸🙏
I used to think along the same lines re. neck through vs bolt on. Then I tried a few Ibanez guitars with bolt on's and I was convinced. Not that they were necessarily better but they absolutely can be just as good - no issues with sustain or stability whatsoever (on a quality instrument at least). As a plus, if for any reason you ever need to replace the neck on a guitar (accidents happen) you're going to be in for a real rough time with a neck through. Just sayin' Edit: I can't NOT mention how stunning Alex's new axe looks (and obviously plays). I really want to try a headless sometime but I'm so far from any decent guitar shops. The couple anywhere near me don't have a single one and I've yet to see one in a pawn shop. Can't afford to just buy to try really, although with a good return policy I might be able to pull that off. Hopefully one day.
Congrats on your new guitar. Can you honestly get good jazz and fusion tones with this headless? I'm asking because I'm interested in deciding between a headless and a regular guitar I know this model is used for metal a lot and I'm not a metal player but I am interested in it for jazz, blues, rock, etc. much appreciate your input
Thank you mate.. Well I've only had it for 24 hours but I'm really happy with the tone I get from it and to be honest I'm not a massive Metal player so for me, I think it works for fusion pretty well... Good luck mate 👍🙏🎸
Hi Alex, interesting you have picked up on Mayones, I looked at them in Thailand many years ago I think when you were here, Chris at Strings used to stock them. He stocks the Aquila and Regius now, but no the Hydra. I still think Tom’s are better and if you are going headless Jeff Kiesel in my opinion builds the best. What led you to Mayones? All the best Bob😊😊
Hi mate, hope all's good out there... I was just drwn to them after trying one for myself... I think they are exceptional guitars.... Of course so are Tom's and the Kiesels, I just fancied a change after the last decade or so.... Still have all my waghorns though.. Cheers for now 👍🎸🙏
Great demo and playing!, Mayones webpage should have you on their front page but they don't even list your name or videos anywhere on their webpage, big mistake from them
It sounds great on live too! Crystal clear tones even in crunch and high gain, eargasm

I don't want or need a two octave guitar but I love how the neck pickups always sound a bit closer to the bridge.
Gorgeous!!!!! Hope you are doing well!

Alex you're kill'n the guitar.. Sounds like you keep adding more tools to your arsenal.. Sweeps like Gambale, Legato like Holdsworth... You're not fair man !!! 😡 🙂
Beautiful guitar.
like 42 from me. Looks and sounds great mate. Recently got hold of a Ibanez Q54 and can't put it down. Keep rockin sir 👍👍🎶🎶🎶🎶
Thank you mate... Glad you're enjoying your Ibanez too 👍🙏 🎸
What a beauty! Sounding great as always! Is it a hollow body, seems like there’s a couple of holes in the top?
Cheers mate...No not hollow body mate, just an interesting body shape at the bottom.. Glad you enjoyed it 👍🎸🙏
🔥
Thank you mate 👍🙏🎸

That would be cool...🤞 Thx mate 👍🙏 🎸
Alex great guitar! Maybe they are going to do your specific guitar like Waghorn?
Thanks man, actually these are exactly the guitar I love, they are so good I don't need to ask any more from them 👍🙏 🎸

Although I usually prefer ketchup this guitar is awesome!
What pickups are they?
Hello, does it need to cut strings' balls?
No mate, you just thread them straight through. ;-) 👍 🙏 🎸
@@AlexHutchingsMusic super cool, and super beauty
So mayones IS an instrument!! Lol
Yep 100% I think they’re frickin awesome 😎 👍🙏
Sweet guitar man, but not as sweet as your playing!
