I watched a few videos about this first that had me nothing but confused. Thank you for making it so straightforward. Only thing I am finding is that I need to keep toggling the persistent stream on every time I go live. It is only mildly annoying though so I'll live lol.
I followed all of the directions, and when I clicked on "Go Live,", it says: "you do not have permission to live stream"... is there anything else I can do?

Hey i have tried it and now i wànt to do it again its saying unable to live stream to the custom service .What do i do .I am doing this for a client and she shared her zoom account with me to try it .and now im stuck
It depends on how you are using your phone/iPad - if you are using software that can accept an RTMP connection to stream OR bringing your phone/iPad into a tool like Streamyard/Ecamm/vMix/etc. on your computer, then yes, it would be the same as is shown here. If you are just looking to use your phone/iPad without additional software, then you won't be able to schedule in advance but should be able to create a new post and select the live video option (if the group owner has that option turned on). Should I get the Sony alpha ZV e-10 instead? Is the difference that big? I hope you see this or anyone can share some insight
When I do do this, it sends me to Otter Ai. I can't figure out what setting I need to change in Zoom for it to send me to Facebook. Any ideas? Thank you!

It depends on where you were trying to stream. For example, in a group the group owner has to give you permission.

@katychenmazzara2331 they announced recently that you have to have a minimum number of followers and page activity. That could be the issue…

You won't be able to stream to a page or group that you have not been given permissions for.

You can't add it there, it needs to be a part of your profile.
Super helpful. The API method isn't working for me as my Page isn't showing up in the dropdown. Does the method you showed for Groups work on a page?
This is only for Groups, Pages are the usual process.
I do not get the option of custom streaming option in my Zoom Pro Account

Go into the zoom settings in a browser not the app. Make sure Live is enabled there!

You'll need to check to see if that output clean HDMI. If it does, you should be able to make it work!

Sounds like something you'll need to have Zoom support help you with - could a problem with your account settings.

When trying to go live on my facebook page I do not see a option that that's share to page, it just shows share on your own timeline.
You need to have that page as a part of your profile.
