I truly appreciate your comment.🤗
Thank you, Tobi. You've really motivated me. God bless you!
You’re welcome ma’am. God bless you as well🙏🏽
Hello Tobi
This is your 2nd video I’m coming across
And I must confess that you share really great content.
My family and I will be in Calgary next year
Cheers
Hey Oge! I’m glad you found the video helpful. Calgary is a beautiful city and a great choice for immigrants. Do reach out when you’re here. Cheers!
Hi Toby..If I come to Canada as a visitor can I hire you as in pay you a fee to meet me at the airport and show me around ?
@@hilaryjoseph9706 😀 Canada is a big country, it depends on where you land. I work everyday so I may not be free to go to the airport or take you around but I’ll love to meet you if you’re in town, for sure😊
@@erinletobi I meant to type Calgary...but you can start a side hustle where you provide this service...you can hire people or network with your friends to start such a business for newcomers
Great message Tobi, greetings from Kampala, uganda 😊
Thank you my friend from Uganda❤️
You boosted my spirit. Thanks for this contents.
My pleasure! Thank you 😊
Thanks for this Tobi . This is a much needed video. I've been having cold feet about this whole japa thing... God bless you.
Glad it was helpful! God bless you too. What’s causing the cold feet if I may ask😁
My daughter had a share of the job hunt experience. For instance, she applied for the NNPC job, passed the test, attended the interview at Abuja Towers and was very hopeful that she would get the job. All done without any influence or connection. Eventually, haven waited endlessly, on enquiry we got to know from very reliable sources that the lists from different corridors of power was overwhelming, and considering the number of opening, very few candidates could actually make it without 'connection'. Imagine the most of having to fly to Abuja, the GMAT practice / studying, while working in an insurance company as a contract
staff...But, it is well!
It is well ma’am. This is the problem with our country. You have to know someone who knows someone. Hopefully we do away with the corruption and nepotism so that people can go to school and get jobs on merit.
@@erinletobi I didn't want to bore you, but I'd say that just like your story, maybe God permitted all that to make way for a greater glory.
By the grace of God, she got a PR and moved to Alberta in May.
She's on a volunteer job, to get a Canadian experience ,but she definitely needs a good job. Please, in case of any opening you know of in Alberta, let me know. She's in Edmonton.
She works in a legal office

Great content and quality video. Motivating and inspiring
Thank you so much🙏🏽
The difference is clear
Yes it is 😊
Tobi, you asked what is stopping me Fr chasing my relocation dream? I have long desired to live, work and settle in Calgary or anywhere else in Alberta. I recently received a visitor’s visa to Canada but because I don’t have any relatives or friend anywhere in Canada, I have to hold back. I am planning on how to navigate LMIA job search and accommodation issues when I come. I understand that rent is high over there and landlords don’t usually rent out their properties to visitors without jobs. Please advise.
Yes, what you’ve heard is true, however don’t let it deter you. My advice is to plan adequately, do a proper research, talk to an agent of you know a reputable one. You’ll stand a better chance of getting an accommodation if you have the right to work and make money, unlike if you just have a visitors visa. What you don’t want to do is to move without proper preparation and a plan B. I’m wishing you all the best 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
this is inspiring…. thanks for sharing your experience

Hi Tobi, thanks alot for this tip and the video. Please if I may ask, can you give examples of insurance documents and driver's history one can bring along?
Hello. Just talk to your insurance company and tell them to write you a letter stating that you have had insurance with them for X number of years. Then go to the FRSC office and tell them you need a drivers abstract. If your abstract shows you’ve been driving for at least 10 years, then you should be able to get cheaper insurance here. Thank you 🙏🏽
@@erinletobi thanks alot for this🙏
This was really helpful. POF is really a challenge, especially for a family of 4_5😢
Though you didn't expantiate your journey through the express entry😅. Maybe, could've gotten one or two tips/info.
POF is a huge challenge, not just for you but everyone who is in the process or who have relocated. Know that there are legal ways to go about it, like getting a gift from family or friends called “gift deeds”. I hope you’re able to overcome this challenge 😊
@@erinletobiTobi please I don't understand what you mean by gift deed, what is it ? Can you talk more?
@@commyomini6324 yes, just type “gift deed Canada” in google and you’ll have more than enough info on it. I hope this helps🙏🏽
@@erinletobiOk. Thank you.
Thank you so much for this information. Kindly explain what insurance history is or how it can be retrieved. Thank you
Hello. I assume you are currently with an insurance company if you drive. So just call them and tell them to write a letter to whom it may concern, stating how long you’ve had insurance with them etc. I hope this helps. Thank you 🙏🏽
Thank you Uncle Tobi for sharing 🙏 My ginger is X10 now😁
Please come let’s form our community here abeg🙏🏽
Yes o
Whats stopping me for pr is that i dont have a master degree
Secondly school route is the next but the way around it and money is the challenge
You’re very correct as funds can be a huge challenge, unfortunately there’s no cheap route to relocating, everyone just has to have the courage to get the funds! And it is possible 😊 you too can do it!
Hi Tobi, ur presentation is excellent. Thank u
Honestly, I would love to travel to Canada but its so expensive.
What should I do pls ?
Thank you for watching and welcome to this community. To be honest, there’s no cheap option to come to Canada. It’s even harder now with the Naira falling everyday. My advice is that you know exactly how much you need to relocate, write it down. Then start to put money aside towards this. Also look for family and friends who will believe in your vision and be willing to help. I wish you the very best 🙏🏽
Inspiring!
Mr Tobi please can you help me with the link on how to relocate to Canada thank you.
Hello. Have you checked the Canada.ca website? Go through the portal that says immigrate to Canada and see the different pathways to come to Canada. Check which one you qualify for. I hope this helps😊
Lovely stories, very inspiring sir!💯🙌🏾🙏🏽🥂
I watched a video on youtube about how Alberta has a new immigration scheme called Rural renewal stream mainly for smaller cities like lethbridge, jasper etcetera....I just want to confirm the authenticity, and I'm planning on applying for a visitor's Visa to be converted to a work visa when I get there, please advise thank you.
Thank you sir. Converting the visitors visa to work visa is legal and possible, it’s just quite difficult as you need to get a job, and the employer has to prove that they couldn’t find any residents with your type of skills (LMIA). For the new immigration scheme in Alberta, I don’t have information on it but it makes sense and it’s possible because smaller cities want people to come in to help grow their economy and set up businesses. You can look through the alberta government website. I hope this helps
@@erinletobi thank you so much for taking the time to respond, it means alot and it helped alot. God bless you boss🙏🏽🥂
Thank you for sharing
Thanks boss😊🙏🏽
Hi bro I love your content. I understand age and relatives play a major role in getting a better chance. Do you think as 39 without a any relative I stand a chance through EE?
Honest answer? No! Express entry favors people who are between 26-30 years old and who probably have a masters degree or PhD and can score the highest points in IELTS. EE is the most direct way to get PR as that is how I came here, but it is very difficult to meet the cut off point. Have you used the CRS calculator? Do you know where you stand?
@@erinletobiYes, I scored a little below 400. Does it mean there is no other easiest route? Can you tell me of other possible ways bro. Thank you.
@@commyomini6324bro, don't lose hope. Try PNP. It can help you scale through
Tobi thank you so much 🙏.
Is it true that one can come to Canada with o'level result?
Without writing IELT and still get a job?
You’re welcome 🙏🏽
To come to Canada to visit, yes for sure, as long as they give you the visa. If it’s for relocation, I’m not sure, but I’ll say please check the Canada.ca website for the current relocation streams. Anything you see or hear and is not on the federal or provincial government websites is probably false. Thank you 🙏🏽
Intriguing!
Thank you😊🙏🏽
Hi brother. I must commend you for this great video, thank you so much!
I do have a question. Do you still remember all the vital documents you submitted/needed for your skilled worker application on the ircc site? And did you have to write ielts or it was wavered because you’re a Nigerian and already have your degree cert, Master’s and Waec to prove language proficiency?… I love your personality, brother, and have subscribed 🙏🏾
Thank you for your compliment sir. Because it’s been a while, I really can’t remember all the documents but yes you will need IELTS to be in the express entry pool. If you check the Canada.ca website, and go to the express entry page, you should see all the requirements. The two most important documents are your credentials evaluation and IELTS. Thank you for subscribing and I hope this helps
@@erinletobi this is so helpful, thank you so much.
Tobi I'm coming to Alberta❤🎉🎉🎉. I will chat with you when I come so we meet up
Great news! Congratulations 🤗 we can definitely meet up if you’re coming to Calgary 😁
Please can I get some links so I can start the process. thanks
Hello. Start from the Canada.ca website. I promise this site has all the information you need to begin. Just go to the “immigrate to Canada” link. You’re welcome 😊
I M A NIGERIAN LIVING IN SOUTH AFRICA. I MUST TELL YOU SOUTH AFRICA IS BEAUTIFUL. IF SOUTH AFRICA COULD HAVE THE KIND OF MONEY NIGERIA HAS ,SOUTH AFRICA WILL BECOME HEAVEN ON EARTH. AS OF NIGERIA... NIGERIA IS NOT WORTH CALLING A COUNTRY WHERE HUMAN BEING MUST RESIDE
Nigeria isn’t as bad as you think😄 I think we just lack good leadership and accountability. I lived in SA for a short time too and it was like heaven compared to Nigeria. Let’s hope we get good leadership in Nigeria someday 🙏🏽
@@erinletobi same as Ethiopia money people lives in the country but there is no job if you got job its small money the inflation conflicts its hard to live in ethiopia
Is age a barrier to relocation dream. Like age 50+
Thanks, I appreciate your encouragement
Age is no barrier when you have the money and the determination. You can come in as a student or an investor. I may not have the details because I’m not an agent, but I’ve seen people in your age range relocate to Canada
Thanks Sir
From your videos I have come across, do these tips apply to Africans as a whole or just Nigeria. I'm not a Nigerian and I'm not resident in my country of origin
Most of them will apply to Africans as a whole. I am Nigerian so I speak more from that perspective
An older friend mentioned that a 6month proof of fund is needed for Canada. Can you confirm this?
It used to be 4months proof. I don’t know what it is now, but for sure, if you’re planning to come to Canada, you’ll need to prove to the government that you can afford to settle down financially before you get a job
Please Tobi send me the links
And how much was the cost of visa??
I came in through the federal skilled workers program. You can check Canada.ca and see the portal on how to come to Canada and check if you meet the requirements. I hope this helps
Gained a sub bro
I appreciate this🙏🏽
How much did you spend in total to relocate?
Oh that’s been quite a while and I can’t remember in total but anyone planning to relocate today will need a large chunk of funds depending on what stream or program they are coming in through
I just came across your channel, i got admission at University of Calgary. I have gotten my study permit. I have just first semester school fee. Is it possible for me to work and study, to make up money that would be enough to pay my dues or do you advice for me to stay back and look for cheaper schools please? I will appreciate your response 🙏
Hmmmm. Firstly I must congratulate you in your admission to UofC as this is one of the best schools around. As an international student, I’m sure you’ll be able to work on a work permit. But you will have deadlines to pay your fees and may not have saved enough money by the deadline.
If you were a permanent resident, you’ll easily apply for a loan and then work to pay back later.
For international students, they expect that you have the money. I’d advise you try to get the money, if what you’re coming to study is good and relevant, you should be able to get a job to pay back your family who helped you raise the funds
@@erinletobi Thank you for the feedback. I am grateful. I am an international student.
The course is an MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Please is it really a course in demand?

Thank you. I appreciate 🙏
I heard Canada is so cold
Hahahahaha. This is not a lie sir😀
Is there any room for an herbal practitioner there in Canada
That I’m not sure. Canada is not like Nigeria when it comes to public health. They are so strict about this. If you have herbal products to sell to the public, the major challenge will be getting them approved by the authorities.
