Chef Sadat, Besan ki Roti recipe is good and nutritous and of course I will prepare. Theplas are made in the similar way just need to add Fenugreek leafy vegetable

We eat baisan ki roti,but it is plain baisan with little aata and salt, crushed pepper, ajwain & zeera & water. We eat with chopped dhanya, onions, garlic leaves, scallions and achar and olive oil. Very simple but enjoyable.

Chef Saadat, been watching your show for a very long time, I mean when you did shows with Chef Nizami, wonderful shows, I loved it. Somehow I for some reasons it was very nostalgic and could relate it not sure how but it did but now I know why, coz it too born and raised in Allahabad and now when you said Allahabad, Sawan Mahina (month) and so on. Things have changed but old timers still remember it and I can relate. You win my heart. And yes I still say Hari Mirchaa to this day after 24 years in Los Angeles
I wasn’t born but have been their twice in bachpun so have some memories through that and also parents alwys talked about it too. I’m glad you finding it interesting. 🙏

It's a wonderful city now called Prayagraj but those winter mornings and the nashtha- choukar paratha, aloo methi soya sabzi, arhar daal, I am willing to give my eyetooth just to live again one day with my parents, I am overwhelmed with emotions. I wonder if you remember the locality/ place you lived but anyhow Thanks chef
Alhmdulliah shukar,,,I never been to Pakistan, my father came to Malaysia just after married,,before azadi or after Azad Pakistan,, but at that time Japan still kabza the country,,then back again British take over the Japan again before azad,, that time abba already here,, I born long time after Azad Malaysia,, but alhmdulliah I still can speak Urdu and understand,,but still not full good😢😢, but I got Pakistani workers before, so I learn alot that l don't get to know I father pass away 20 years after my moms death,,
Pakistani dramas improve me alot, but the dramas with Pakistan's problems make thanks Allah move here and he was zameendar but he never gone back,,I heart lakhnow Dehradun Karachi Lahore Islamabad Faisalabad all that he tell in his story's,,I Imagen of a difrent world and feel weird when he say naei for cut hair and dhobi khandan comes to wash,,

I also make in same way ,I learned from my. Mom except that besides all those things I also put some chopped green onion plus some G/G pd. We also make lal.chatni and also Khatami Bangan + Raita.All these Desi foods are so tasty.

Bhojpuri alag hai, Allahabad side mein j boli jaati hai vo purvi hi hai kyonki ki poorv (East) , Eastern UP side ki language hai. Infact Allahabad mein specially jo boli jaa rahi hai voi allahabadi hi hai. Par generally purvi ka hi dialect hai.
