Spontaneous, Being Still and Waiting On The Lord -The South Bay School of The Spirit

A time of exercising the Art of Stillness and Waiting on the Lord. Psalm 46:10, Isaiah 40:31 During this meeting in the school of the Spirit, we relished the silence and waited in order to be tuned in, dialed in by the inward gathering together of all our beings into one place that is Christ within us. The modern Church has lost the fine art of silence, stillness, and waiting upon the Lord. We are in a rush and are driven, our flesh needs to do things and try to accomplish only what the Spirit can accomplish. The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you-they are full of the Spirit and life. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
In the School of the Spirit, the Lord is wooing us to sink down, embrace weakness, and feebleness, to come to an awareness that apart from him we can do nothing in order for that which is of the Spirit to rise up to come to the forefront. In this place, we become tuned by the Spirit our senses get activated preparing us for revelation that brings a knowing that surpasses mere intellectual ascent. God wants to reveal himself to us so that we may know him as Adam knew Eve.
