I actually bought the MacPherson kit from Harbor Freight it’s only 30 or $40 don’t quote me but if I rented it from AutoZone you know 10 things come up between now and when it gets done
I just changed the 21 year-old spark plugs 🫣😂 of course they were all fouled… probably need a new alternator and starter before we go the next 150k miles and they’ve both been replaced once but I guess two replacements in 21 years is called for
to anyone thinking of doing this do not get the cheaper parts from autozone or o'reily unless it is moog or kyb brand as all the others have plastic bearings that will fail and you will waste all your time spent. better yet bite the bullet and go to the honda dealer for the top mount and bearing
Thanks for the instructions.
You bet!
4:36 That's where you have to "clock" the steel mount 30deg IIRC. 8:26 Many call these "widow-makers". LOL
"Something in your car is trying to kill you!! Watch this video or you might die!!" Sounds like a Scotty Kilmer video title.
the shocks you used are shot, the fact that you had to pull the piston up is the indication,.
They could defiantly be better.

Yea, you can keep the AutoZone tool for 90 days just is just enough time for me to feel safe.

I think I'm going to have to replace the throw out bearing. Not looking forward to that.
