    Your all wrong.
Flight ceiling for the DC area for military helicopters is 200 feet maximum. The helicopter was between 300 and 400 feet. They broke military protocols. If the helicopter was at the right flight ceiling, they would not have hit the plane.

I blame inflation, high interest rates and the southern border wall for this tragedy

The air traffic controller told the helicopter to go around, so , its the helicopter pilot's fault.

No, not necessarily. Air traffic said can you see the plane, the pilot of the chopper says yes, but it was a different plane. The chopper pilot was indicating to the right, the plane that was struck came from the left. IMHO, this will end with fault on the tower. Too many air craft in the same path and altitude.

@@mchapman1928Failure to keep separation. Also an issue with two different channels for military and airline and one controller handling both? Confusing communication. The setup of military flying below landing civilian aircraft seems nuts in the first place when they use different channels and can’t communicate directly with each other.

@@zuzuspetals9281 - I worked for the IRS years ago. Some of the air traffic controllers, who were close to retirement and were fired by Reagan, were allowed to go to other federal agencies to finish out their pensions. Two of them I worked with. The stories they told would make you terrified of flying. The long hours, the amount of traffic they had to deal with on the screen, the stress, mind blowing. You must have the best qualified candidate possible in jobs like that.

The helo pilot assumed visual separation so some level of blame on them. There apparently was not full staffing such that 1 person had to cover helo and passenger frequencies. Lack of Earlier escalated warnings from control to helo lays some blame on tower/control. Helo apparently at too high elevation as well. As in most cass multiple factors at play aligning the swiss cheese holes. Probably a new set of guidelines for helicopter allay operation. Condolences to all involved.

Can a helicopter be hijacked or hacked and controlled remotely like a drone or electric car, etc. it sure seems to be on purpose how it veered at that moment to hit the plane or it could’ve been remote controlled. I’m just wondering if it’s possible.

The carelessness never happened when Biden was President. Just saying.
