Thank you so much for the link to the tractor sweater and hat pattern. I can’t wait to see yours and I’m going to make one of these myself but likely the smallest size. I’m building a baby hope chest for my nephew. Thank you again. Love your podcasts and all your projects.
Hi Oline, as always I get very inspired hearing all of your plans! Also will be very excited to see what the beads will look like on your wedding dress. When I weave in ends, I have stopped worrying about what they look like on the wrong side , unless the wrong side is also visible (like with a scarf or maybe a cardigan.)Also, I tend to weave through only 3 or 4 stitches and leave a longer tail hanging so there is no danger of the yarn completely unweaving. That saves time and also looks better from the right side, because with summer yarns especially the weaving in on the back can make the stitches look funny on the right side. Hope this makes sense! Anyway, whatever works best for you😊
Hi!! I'm really looking forward to finally do some of the beading on the wedding dress! I'm getting better at not caring what the inside looks like when it's not visible. But there is something satisfying about getting it 100% seamless. I'm going to remember your tip of leaving a tail, especially when it comes to summer yarn! Have a great week❤️
I'm working on my first ever sweater. Been knitting for only two years now, but I knew, deep in my heart, that I wanted to get to wearables sooner rather than later. Very excited! I also finished a rug last week while out on a camping trip with family, and I am working through my stash quite steadily. The biggest project I have ahead of me is taking all the 121 squares I knit for a patchwork blanket for my son. I was really struggling to find a way to connect them all that worked for me. Hoping to have that done before December.
That's so exciting!! What sweater are you making as your first sweater? Good luck with your stash busting! Hopefully, I'll be better at stash busting the rest of the year🤞🏻
Happy to see a new podcast. I think you enabled me to knit a pair of pants for my youngest granddaughter. Love all the yarn you purchased and can’t wait to see your tractor sweater. I am knitting a Gramps Cardigan by Tincan knits using up some stash yarn. I still have the LuLu slipover on the needles that I need to get back to.
Thank you! I'm glad you find it helpful❤️ I can't wait to see the tractor sweater either. My fingers are itching to make it! Good luck with your projects🥰
I enjoy your podcasts very much. I am knitting a cropped liveresque cardigan to wear over my dresses. I changed the button band and collar and they are taking a very long time.
Looking forward to hearing how you enjoy the Alaska! I made a lovely cabled pattern in red last winter, held it with kidsilk mohair for a Novice cardigan in mustard and now just finishing a Cloud sweater in navy blue as it begins to cool down while we‘re sailing - very pleased with all of my Alaska projects, unbeatable in price and quality for a solid non-superwash wool!
I'm really looking forward to testing it out! It feels like it will make an amazing sweater! I'm happy to hear you have such a good experience with the yarn!! And it really is unbeatable when it comes to the price!!!
You have a lot of fall knitting plans. Lots of fun projects. I really love the tractor sweater you are going to make your son. I tried to find the pattern but no luck. When you make it, can you please let us know where we could find the pattern. I know you said on he podcast but I looked there and didn’t find it. You yarn acquisitions are gorgeous colors and great plans for it all too. You were very smart to weave in the ends on the Ribbed Pants and the Sophie Shawl. It is so satisfying to finish a project but dreadful to go back later to weave in ends. The item gets buried and might be able to be being used. It’s not a fun task but it’s so much easier to do it right away. You are doing a great job picking away at the basket of shame. Keep going and it will all be done. Even a half hour here and there makes such a difference. I don’t have a lot of fall plans. I’m currently making a Ranunculus Sweater but in worsted weight so not gauzy as in the pattern picture, also preview knitting a pair of mittens and test knitting a torturous baby sweater. Then I have two year long KAL projects on the go, a crocheted temperature blanket and a knitted Japanese Sampler Blanket. I try not to have too many WIP’s on the go at once. The temperature blanket is just 22 double crochet blocks a day and the Japanese Blanket is a clue of 80+ rows a month. The rest I just pick away with but am very impatient to finish as soon as I start something. Crazy. Have fun with your projects.
So many knitting plans😅 Can't wait to see how my son will react when getting his own tractor sweater🥹 The pattern is: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/gg-19-24-traktor-genser-og-lue I'm learning that finishing a project is much easier when doing it right away. If I wait, it just builds into this huge task. Can't wait until the day when I'm finally all caught up! I love your projects❤️ So many fun, varied projects! But I certainly can relate to wanting to finish WIPs to be able to cast on new projects haha. Thank you! Have fun with your projects too
I love it too!! The perfect shade of red imo❤️ Tge wedding dress might be my mist exciting, nerve-wracking project to date😅 I don't think I know more than one other either🤔
That tractor sweater is so cute! Also can't wait to see your Levitate finished. I keep telling myself that I am not buying anymore yarn and then I keep buying more yarn 😬 I was knitting on my Market Henley by Claire Jackson (Perfectly Knotted) while watching. And I am all caught up on buttons and weaving in ends!!! I have so many plans. My newest cast on is the selene junior for one of my boys and the next cast on after that will probably be a long sleeve Maggie cardigan as soon as the yarn arrives (that I wasn't going to buy). Or another of my 15-20 planned garments... I am not even counting all the hats and scarfs I have on my list/needles.
It's so cute!!! Can't wait to see my son's face when I give it to him in the future!! I think the Levitate Wrap will become my favorite cardigan in no time🤩 I keep having the same problem with yarn🙈 Yay for being all caught up with buttons and ends! Can't wait until I get there! I like your plans, and very much relate to having 15/20 plans at a time😅🤪
The days in N. Canada, where I live, are still warm but as soon the sun goes down the temperature is really dropping. It is just a matter of time before we have our first frost. I usually need to wear a cardigan or jean jacket in the morning going to work since it is chilly. My mind has gone to wool sweaters and cardigans using what I have and thinking of new projects to cast on.
Yes, that's how it's here now too! It can be quite warm in the sun during the day, but below freezing at night😅 I love this period of time when it comes to knitting and wearing knits🥰
Loving all of your knits, Olina! Just a thought - if you don’t like how the fasteners turn out on the wedding belt, you could maybe try picking up some stitches on each end and make some I-cord ties that you could tie in a bow??? That might look cute, too! Just a suggestion, though. Take care!
Your knitting is beautiful!!!! Love your podcast!
Thank you so much🥰

No problem! Im going to cast on soon, im itching to be able to give it to my son❤️ Your nephew is lucky to have you knitting for him!!
Hi Oline!! You have great knitting plans!! Greets from Italy❤
Hi! Thank you! I'm so excited to get to them all🥰
I was the one who sent you the tractor sweater on Ravelry. So excited to see you're going to make it!! It's adorable!
@@tess7510 Thank you so much for sending it!! We're all really excited about making/getting it❤️
The levitate wrap in red will look so beautiful
Can't wait!! It will be the perfect cardigan for fall🥰

I LOVE that red sweater! ❤ I’ve enjoyed seeing the progress of your wedding dress. I know of only one other knit wedding dress. 😊

Oooh, I love Drops Alaska!!! It is lovely to work with. I made a skirt with it several years ago. It is not superwash and spit splices nicely
Ooooh! I'm happy to hear! It feels VERY promising! Can't wait to get into it more🤩

Thank you! That's a good idea! But I already have an icord bow in the same area, so it might be a bit too much😅 Take care!
