That Yoko bone cruncher was one of my favorite wrestling action figures I had and wrestling action figures were always my favorite he dominated people I had the white version never could find the red in my area as a kid
Kyle, will the impending book cover these "are they/aren't they" Classic Superstars? This Ringside Yoko that you've put at 5 might be the most indecisive I am about any of them.
The Jakks Classic with the wrist tape always bugged me. Also his head was way too small, but I loved the bone cruncher era Yoko, both the red/black version and the white/black Kay Bee Toys exclusive.
Banzai top 5! 1. Hasbro S8 2. Hasbro S11 3. Elite 15 - most iconic attire 4. Elite Flashback - matches Hasbro attire which he never wore 5. Royal Rumble 6. Hall of fame
That bone cruncher Yoko is the best wrestling figure ever made. Its the only one (besides the Hasbro) that got his fat body size right and it even came in Red and White trunks varieties. I love the pissed off expression and beard. Its ironic that it was released when Yokozuna was no longer wrestling in the WWF for years. The Hasbro figure is great too, especially the green card one. I also really like the miniature Grudge Match Yokozuna figure that Playmates released in 1997. It came with a tiny wrestling ring and he could fight Ahmed Johnson in it.
I was bummed out you didn't show number five without the robe,But you said later it was in white so I'm satisfied lol,I only have him in red A Jakks,But I love the one in white with the two belts,I just bought it for 60 and then found it at the same collectable s store for 35,Lol Oh well But that's my favorite, But I do love that kimono!
I still think we're waiting on a great Yokozuna figure. All of his figures have had one or two things that throw them off, plus he has a weird history of being made in NOT his iconic red with black tights. The Jakks versions were way too fat. Mattel doesn't make their fat guys fat enough, plus Yoko has that weird, hollow backside that reminds me of a turtle shell. Here's to hoping we get an Ultimate Yoko that gets all-new tooling, red tights, swappable black/white sumo mawashi, and a robe.
So I haven't watched the video yet, but my pick is the Hasbro Yokozuna at #1. The Jakks Bone Cruncher is great, but the Mattel Elite Yoko kinda sucks due to the limited articulation (no waist swivel?) The Jakks Classic SS sucked - it just looked like a standard Sumo wrestler, and the body was goofy.
I love this. You are 100% one of my favorite UA-camrs. These videos always help me relive the good parts of my childhood so just thank you so much.
Awesome list. It has made me realize that I need a Yokozuna for my collection. He is someone who is needs representation in my collection.

My mattel Yoko got stained up because of that robe but its fine since it covers him up anyways

Now just add the ultimate!
It's funny how the oldest figure (Hasbro) has the best headsculpt

We need a legends yoko

The bone crusher is amazing
Why does he have so skinny arms on the elites…
