I work with Crush’s son. He has a few stories about him. Sadly Crush died when he was young so not a whole lot. He’s an amateur wrestler now, trying to keep the legacy going.
@@popularzbie9761 When you're a kid who's a huge Macho Man fan and still upset that Crush tried to murder him on a guardrail, it's an epic tail of two former best friends turned enemies
@@DaBigCheeso I agree with u I was 11 and just loved everything wwf at that time but even then I knew that match was not very good. Should have been a normal match.
Growing up watching WWF Wrestling my two favorites wrestlers from Hawaii are Ricky Steamboat and Crush. I'm originally from Hawaii. Awesome video Kyle good to see you at the last Revolver Show. Mattel needs more Crush figures.
Demolition Crush was a top 10 guy in my Hasbro Fig Fed when I was a kid. In the late 90's, when we still had Kay Bee Toys around, you could still find Hasbro figures on clearance. Found most of the yellow card series and Kona Crush is another great Hasbro.
Years ago early 90's I had literally tons of these figures,LOD and the Natural Disasters but Demolition was always the hardest set to get.Your number 3 I had,and number 1 figures I finally got. This was my figure era.loved Kamala and Papa Shango ,wish I still had them all now!!!
I like the accessories on the Mattel Demo Crush and the face paint more than the Jakks, but I like the Jakks head sculpt and face more than the Mattel version. Both Demo Crush's have their advantages.
What a career, with so many strong gimmicks that all had striking looks! However he never stayed as one long enough to establish himself in that role! So when I think about Crush I'm thinking of all his gimmicks at once, on rotation..with Demolition Crush making a double appearance. Despite the Kiss Demon being a bad gimmick, that would make for an amazing looking figure! Mattel could have a field day with the amount of Crush figures they could make (a good 10+ I'm sure). Great video once again Kyle!
What I like about Crush from the yellow card series is the packaging matched his ring gear. It looks like a Ringside Collectibles exclusive figure. You get a sense that this is how Ringside might have done Crush had they been around during this time and how the carding would've looked. It's visually stunning. I'm on a mission to get all of the Hasbros and that Crush was one of my firsts. Sadly the one that I had as a kid was beat up, but when I reclaimed it for my collection as an adult I felt like a kid again. Wish me luck on collecting the whole line 42 still to go.
I Never could find the Hasbro Kona Crush, or any yellow cards for that matter. I wanted that Crush fig so bad. I loved how they gave it the Perfect-Plex action. Side note: a couple years later I saw a green card Evil Crush in a shop for $75 and passed on it! One of my biggest regrets. RIP Crush, Bryan Adams. 🤙
I too feel that Kona Crush had some potential. He was big but not super jacked and was more relatable than the Ultimate Warrior or Lex Lugar. It was his feud with Doink the Clown that ruined him!
Kona🍍Crush for the win...🏁 He was always one of my favorites...❤ He once did a promo where he was walking on the beach⛱️and talking about what he was gonna do to his opponent, and he crushed a whole pineapple with his hands...💪🏼 It was an epic promo...✨️ But anyways, yeah, what in the heII is wrong with Mattel anyhow, are they flippin' crazy or what, like, why wouldn't you have us a Kona🍍Crush figure, especially with the release of the New Generation Entrance and Ring...💯✔️ They also need to re-release all the New Generation era figures once again as well...👌🏼 Get on it, Mattel❗️❗️❗️
I feel like the Hasbros were the heyday of the Crush figures. I think that there's a lot of potential for different Crush looks. Also, wasn't it Bryan Clark that was Wrath in WCW?
I've got a question about Entertainment Earth and thought this might be a useful place to consult the community. I placed a pre-order in January for a Mr. Freeze figure which was estimated to come between March and April. Now I noticed that it the figure is labeled as "Out of Stock" on their website. Does this mean I will not be getting the figure OR just that they are taking no more new orders? Thank you to anyone who has any insight.

The Savage/Crush feud is one of my all time faves. Glad to see him getting some Top 5 list love
Crush vs macho man wm 10 is one of the worst matches at a mania.

Adding a new fig or 2 to the mix was really awesome back in the day👍

A modern Kona Crush figure would look good with his colorful ring gear.
Great top 5

You crushed this top 5. We need demolition in the hall of fame. So they could come out with figures

Mattel can’t make with out wrestler/wwe approval simple as that. They would make everyone we want if they could
