- In this video we pop by Chinatown Complex Food Centre - One of the largest hawker centre in Singapore to do a $100 hawker food challenge! Joining me today was my buddy Ghib, who is a Japanese vlogger that's based in Singapore. Invited him for this episode coz this is one of his favourite hawker centre in Singapore.

I cannot believe you collab with Ghib. This guy is a half-japanese and half-singaporean. He served his NS in the army and I’m proud to say that he is a part of this country. I love this guy.

I have been waiting to watch this for a long time. I watched the bts in Ghib's channel. Zermatt, you always so sayang your guest by eating more for them. Ghib lets u eat more as he looks paiseh to eat more. Please invite him back n maybe the next time, you should let him eat more n try not to help him by eating more. haha..

I’ve watched quite a lot of Ghib’s videos, and I can’t quite put my finger on it, but the energy in this video feels different. I guess it might be because it’s the first time you two are meeting (maybe I'm wrong), but in your solo videos, both of your personalities shine through more, and I get a livelier vibe. This collaboration feels a bit more reserved compared to what I’m used to. Just my observation, but, it’s still fun watching you both enjoy local hawker food.

Enjoyed the video! One of my most frequent and favourite hawker centre! So much variety, you two can go there for another 2 or 3 rounds at different timings hahahaha! Look forward to Hong Lim hawker next as I used to work around the area.

Chinatown Complex Hawker centre is the biggest Hawker centre in Singapore if I'm not wrong, JIA JI COOKED FOOD the stall you got the yam cake from, omg every time got queue sia, they offer a variety of local snacks like bak change, chee cheong fun etc. Apparently there's s stall somewhere that sells Sachima, it's like a Chinese version of energy bars, one uncle doing it, I think it's a white signboard with red words, and he's doing the craft with one arm, unfortunately his right fingers are amputated, but he's one of the last few dedicated to his craft. Not only Chinatown Complex, Maxwell is just a stone throw away, not forgetting the Cantonese pastry shop that sells diamond egg tarts, Tong Heng (:

Woo Ji Cooked Food, Chinatown Food Centre Stall #02-056 Blue zone. Try them please if you haven't already. Opinion and thoughts and experiences. Apparently according to Gregory this stall had affordable laksa and hae mee options for $2,$3,$4 presumably for the elderly clients who eat a half portion of what normal sizes are. Check it out. Btw like Ojisan especially after he caught covid a month ago and is going back to Japan soon for a trip. Kudos to all you presenters I enjoyed it heaps. 12:07 Liked the originality of Sumimasen, the battery is about to die 12:08.
