My mother had her cataract surgery 3 months ago, she got a multifocal lens and she is facing some issues till this day 1)She says she is seeing rings of light whenever she looks at a source of light. 2) The face of person standing in a distance is covered by black ring ( She can't see his face) 3)The person standing in a mid distance (not that far not near) is covered with white ring (can't see his face clearly). The doctor that did the surgery says the lens didn't suit her eyes. She told us to wait for 40 days and we did, but even after 3 months she is still facing same problem. We visited other eye specialists who said that these are the cons of this lens but the doctor who did this surgery didn't tell us this before, only after 10 days of surgery she told us about these cons. Now all eye specialist say the your problem will stay as they are or they may improve a little bit. We even asked them about removing the lens but they are telling us that if you had came within a month after the surgery, we would have easily removed the lens. But now if you try removing it the foundation for the lens may come out with the lens and you may lose your eye. The doctor who performed the surgery didn't tell us about the period we can remove the lens. What should we do now? My mother hasn't slept for 2 months she barely gets any sleep thinking about her eye. Please tell me what should we do?

My mother had her cataract surgery 3 months ago, she got a multifocal lens and she is facing some issues till this day

We visited other eye specialists who said that these are the cons of this lens but the doctor who did this surgery didn't tell us this before, only after 10 days of surgery she told us about these cons.
Now all eye specialist say the your problem will stay as they are or they may improve a little bit.
We even asked them about removing the lens but they are telling us that if you had came within a month after the surgery, we would have easily removed the lens. But now if you try removing it the foundation for the lens may come out with the lens and you may lose your eye.
The doctor who performed the surgery didn't tell us about the period we can remove the lens.
What should we do now?
