The Bills were missing multiple starters on the offensive line; their worst losses came in that span. Once the offensive line got healthy, they discovered a run game. Now teams can no longer sit on two-high safeties and dare the Bills to run. There's no stopping the Bills now.

Im a lifelong pats fan but i couldnt even be upset. The way josh allen was playing is transcendental. No dishonor losing to a guy playing out of his mind. Im in a tough spot because i love the way josh allen plays and he might be my second favorite player besides brady. But he plays in buffalo and will torment the pats for the next decade and more

Well, at least you're seeing things clearly. Transcendental is the best word I've read for it. He has been reaching new levels this year. It's not consistent, and Barmore and Judon were banged up, but he is different. Thank you for noticing that.
I think it's a great story too, because these kids (Allen was born when I was 16 yo) get used abused and discarded all too often.

In other words, there's a good debate to be had in discussing Allen vs Burrow, but what is *100% indefensible* is that Jackson made it over both of them.

Chris is missing it a bit. It isn't just Josh. It's the right group at the right time. Josh is a massive part of that, and an undeniable leader on and off the field, but let's be clear: the Bills have won games with Josh playing downright terrible. The defense is legit and CONTINUES to get disrespected by these guys.

Josh is good but he isn’t a leader. At least not yet.
The system and playcalling are good, but Josh would be a beast in any non-disfunctional offense. Swap josh with Baker on the Browns. How good would the Browns be? Chiefs? Colts? Bengals? Bucs? Chargers? It really is 90% Josh. If you replaced Josh with the average NFL QB, Kirk Cousins for instance, they would be like the other Bills teams we saw for the last 30 years.
As a die hard Panthers fan I know exactly what I'm seeing. Josh is cam Newton if cam was also an elite passer. And the combo of the two is an absolute buzzsaw. Josh at least for now is absolutely the best player in the league. It's must watch tv too.

I’m a fan but they still lack speed on offense and a pass rushing force on defense. I hope they win without it, but these were the same issues last year as well.
@@Primenumber19 While the numbers weren't there the whole year in terms of sacks, I think this defensive line is in a better place simply because of how much pressure they get. They too often fail to convert that pressure, but it's much more pressure than last year all the same.

Bates has been a revelation on the O-line. They’ve had 0 sacks and averaged 172 rush yards in the 4 games since he was inserted into the starting lineup.

I lived through 4 disapointing Super Bowl losses. I'll feel confident when the Bills are up by 30 points with 1 minute and 30 seconds in the Super Bowl.
@TB player, I was 16 for the first of those four Super Bowls. I woke up for school the next day after the first one hoping it was a bad dream and Norwood’s kick was good. Since then and the ensuing years, I have watched the Bills do very Billsy things, and am not confident we will win until the game clock hits zero. Too many times they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Always worried they will choke at the end of games. Kind of like an abused anima expects every human to be mean to it.

Younger people in their 30s, like my son, get excited when the Bills win their division, or a playoff game. I tell him that's nice, but been there, done that. I will say this, as much as Jim Kelley was a good quarterback, Josh is far more exciting. I'll wait a couple more years before I say better. All they need is a consistent running game like Thurman and Kenny used to give them.

What a game that was on Saturday. BILLS fan here for 40 years..Josh Allen, you are so humble and yet so good w/what you do. What do you mean "why did it take so long?" Josh played lights out last year, was an MVP candidate, and lead his team to the AFC Championship, and crushed multiple franchise records... His regular season stats this year were actually almost identical to last years. He has had a few bad games but Josh has been carrying the Bills offense all year. I believe he has also lead the league in Fantasy points two years in a row... It's just that he didn't come out of the gates like Mahomes, it took him a couple years to develop, get some weapons and get an O Line. but he's been doing this for two years now, I hope the Bills can at least make it past the chiefs in these playoffs!

The o-line is back and was absolutely crucial this Saturday. 10 seconds in the pocket for a td pass. Amazing. The buffalo bills cannot be stopped now.
Not only is it back it’s better with Ryan Bates inserted in the lineup he’s playing at a pro bowl level.
Let's have some perspective. This week the Bills, as TEAM, proved they can do EVERYTHING. Throw in JA, and things get interesting and they're virtually unstoppable. And not all those bad games were entirely Allen's fault.

It took so long because our O-Line took the entire season to figure out how to be half decent and our running game was non existant cause of it, our o-line has found a groove so has Singletary.

I've been a Bills fan since 1976. Until this Saturday, the best Bills game I ever saw was the AFC Championship against the Raiders in January of 1991, when the Bills stomped them 51-3.
This beat that. It was like watching a football version of a Perfect Game. It sent me to the ER because it gave me a chubby that lasted longer than four hours. If they keep playing at this level, there is no team that can beat them, period.

The bills turned on to what they are potentially starting in the 2nd half on their game with Tampa Bay. They are going all the way. 49ers are being underestimated now too. We all know that NFL establishment just ignore Buffalo every year. Dallas could be in last place and they would get more favoritism. Game against Kansas won't be close unless the 2nd team against Bills are a problem. 2nd team being the REFs! Watch for that.

I think Bills were not ready for the two high shell defenses. They found out the threat of running Josh Allen is enough to force other teams to be honest. The Bills realized that they needed to run the football to bring the offense to life. Allen threw only 25 passes against the Pats. But they were big throws because the defense didn’t know what to defense.
About Josh Allen, I for the life of me couldn’t understand when the Bills went 10-6 relying upon Allen, yet there were so many people who consistently hated on Allen. His potential was as high as any player I’d ever seen and the kid obviously was 100% invested in fixing his mechanics. I never doubted he’d do it and no one in Buffalo did either. They knew the kid.
BTW, I’m a Vikings fan and doubt the Vikings would have the patience to let Josh be Josh. Daboll and McDermott deserve an awful lot of credit.
At least 1 media outlet is talking about one of the greatest QB performances in playoff history instead of the Cowboys loss 🙄

Chris ain’t giving the Bills weapons enough respect. Knox has become a borderline elite TE , McKenzie is a straight up weapon, Gabe Davis is underrated and is a stud in the red zone , Beasley is a dynamic route runner as well as Sanders . Singletary is stepping up as he get featured. I’m surprised Simms doesn’t know these guys skill sets and how they all fill necessary roles on this offense
Josh makes the other players around him better...sure, it took him a couple of years to get here, but he's there NOW. That's what the great ones do.

The media picks its golden boys and guys to hate on. They’ve always hated on Allen. I’m a Chargers fan and have noticed how over the top they are with hyping up Herbert. Herbert hasn’t accomplished close to what Allen has and also is inconsistent and throws a lot of INTs but for whatever reason it doesn’t matter when it comes to Herbert and other media golden boys. Allen is even more mobile, just as strong if not stronger arm and has already lead his team to afc champ and is looking to do the same or more this year but he’s always under a microscope and criticiZed as much as any qb in the league

This is why the MVP should not be voted for until after the Super Bowl. Another reason to move the Pro Bowl back to after the Super Bowl, then they can announce the MVP at the game. IF the Bills get to the Super Bowl, then we can easily say that Josh Allen is the league MVP and if the Bills win the Super Bowl, it will be criminal that Allen isn't the league MVP.
I find it odd that when teams are winning, they say that whoever should be considered for a HC, yet when they had a HC job, they were saying that they needed to g. This is why I never listen to people on TV.

Over 4k passing yards, iver 700 rushing yards and over 40 tds, who is better than that? When the bills have struggled look at the play of the offensive line. The offensive line was epic level bad for mist of the season, the fact allen was still able to put up the numbers he did is further proof of how good this kid is. The line actually played well in the pats game and you saw how well allen can play with decent blocking. You guys need to research the players you talk about a little more closely.
Yeah idk what this dude is talking about. Sure he’s had some disappointing games every qb has. Look at Rodgers, Brady, Mahomes, etc. But Allen does more for his team than any other qb in football. Either him or Lamar.
The Diehard Pats fan in me wishes for Josh Allen to be the next Dan Marino. Tons of stats, Great QB, No championships. But the football fan in me hopes he continues his success. This will make for an amazing renewed Rivalry between the Pats and Bills. AFC East over the next few years is going to be a beast to deal with.

I haven’t looked it up, but how many QBs were taken before Allen? His tools/skillset are as good as can be for a QB. What a class!! With just him & Lamar alone. Recently we’ve gotten amazing pairs of new starting QBs with Mahomes/Watson, Allen/Jackson, & Burrow/Herbert
There were two QBs taken before Allen in 2018 - Mayfield and Darnold.

Josh has 2 more weapons in RB James Cook and WR Shakir. Both are 4.4 guys with waterbug moves and are going to light it up along with the previous offensive talent. They had Diggs, Davis, Knox and Singletary last year and both have added to the teams firepower. Cook is more like a rocketsled with his acceleration. Maybe he should just be called the "SLED".

Allen is easily the best player in the entire NFL. That's no disrespect to Mahomes (who is great). Allen is the best player in the NFL, bar none. Period. End of sentence.
He has nights where he plays like the best player in the NFL. But hes far too inconsistent to hold that title. Being elite like Brady and Rodgers means that outside of a bad game or two for 90 percent of the season there good to great. Theres to many Jags games in a season where Allen looks awful for him to be crowned the best player in the NFL.

@@coldwinter5428 this is just out and out wrong. Show me one game where Josh got a solid performance from his offensive line that he stunk it up. Just one. Josh is struggles this season came as a direct result of absolutely atrocious offensive line play. Someone like Tom Brady would have been sacked 50 times in the first 12 games if he played behind that line, and even Derrick Henry would have struggled to run the ball consistently. I don't know what they did with that offensive line 5 weeks ago, but it came at a perfect time. If the line continues to play the way they have the past few weeks, Buffalo will be winning a super bowl this year.
@@coldwinter5428 he's as consistent as any of the other ones the last two years. He's also a much higher % of his team's total offensive production than any of the others, i.e. matches their production, but does so with less help around him.
@@peterwilson4865 he has a very good offensive supporting cast. It was 0 degrees outside, Catching footballs at that temp hurts and his skilled position players didnt drop a single pass against the patriots. They even made some incredibly athletic catches where Allen didnt have good ball placement. He sucked against the Jags, Falcons, and Steelers this season. he was meh in the first game against the Patriots and the first meetup against the dolphins. Theres a reason he got zero MVP and All pro votes this season. Hes been a roller coaster the past two seasons. We could easily see bad Allen show up to play the Chiefs in round 2.
I agree with everything you say except for you saying that the team relies on Allen to win games .4 weeks ago I would have agreed they're playing more like a team now than they have all season. as a Bills fan is it possible that they sandbag'ed their way into the playoffs? I was at the game sitting in the front row and it looked almost effortless it was like watching someone play Madden on rookie.

Chris did not last long in the NFL, and his analysis of the Bills team shows. Allen is NOT the focal point of the Bills, which is a good thing! To even suggest that the team has scrubs and only Allen is crazy. That team can rock even with a non-mobile, decent QB.
Bills Packers would be amazing, battle of the tiniest and coldest markets! Also the battle of a pocket QB vs a guy who run the ball like no one else.
