An ending is an ending, it’s up to the animator to make that. If he doesn’t want to overuse it, then that’s fine.

Generations actually f***ed up Sonic's canon. Pin-sized Sonic is from another dimension, while actual Sonic was the same for all games, including classic games. That means classic design of actual Sonic = Modern design of actual Sonic, while Sonic from another dimension is using classic design of Sonic. It will take forever to explain, but Forces managed to fix it, that's a good thing

The irony here, is that he actually DOESN'T run fast. The fastest he goes by accelerating to full speed over flat ground is just an ordinary running speed like 15 mph. What you have him doing now is just more like walking speed..... yet he can somehow still jump up in the air to 3 times his body height apparently. Mkay.
