Beautiful entourage! - From what I was able to observe, the biochar was just placed on, not mixed with, the vermicompost. - How is that procedure sufficient for activating the biochar? Thanks
Well, I kind of scracthed it in as a thin layer, so it was all in contact with the castings if not buried a little. The microbes and nutrients came up from the backdoor, if you will. I didn't mix it totally in because it would have been difficult to get it all out because I didn't want to harvest the castings yet. It really brought up the temperature in the compost pile so I think the microbes moved in. If that wasn't enough, the time in the compost surely finishe off the activation process. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
Great question! Wouldn't that be nice. I hate finding plastic in my Garden. When I do it makes me thunk of all the plastic I'm not seeing. Here's a link that I came across. Thanks for watching and commenting.🙂👍 pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36179840/#:~:text=Compared%20to%20other%20available%20physical,removing%20micro(nano)plastics.
Your ben pit looks just like mine. Not sure I made biochar?" But after watching your video I think I can! From a new guy!
Right on! Inoculating your biochar in your worm castings is the way to go! Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing!
Worm bins and compost piles are the best options for innoculating biochar.
They really seem to get the job done. They are full of microbial life, aren't? Thanks for watching and commenting IowaKeith.🙂
Very good and informative as usual. Biochar and hot compost are magic things to me
The science is there! 😃
Whoa, so interesting!
Thanks kirtanwallah!

Nice work.
Thank you. It was a pleasure. Thanks for watching and commenting
I LOVE ❤ BRIAN'S BIOCHAR
Avocado 🥑 Mango 🥭 pruning excellent source for bio char I see 👀
Check it out!
My people call it corn.
Hello! Who are your people? They call biochar corn? Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
New question: Can biochar filter NANO plastics from water... good luck saving the planet y'all.

Great way to use biochar and worm castings together 🪱🇳🇿
Quite a pair! Made for each other really.
