I DID SOMETHING LIKE YOURS TO MY 2004 NID-NIGHT STAR BUT I MADE THE BACK FENDER AND BAGS ALL ONE ITEM, NOW ALL I HAVE TO DO TO GET AT ANYTHING UNDER THE FENDER IS TAKE TWO BOLTS OUT AND IT ALL LIFTS UP OUT OF THE WAY LIKE A CAR HOOD... hi, i would buy exhaust like you have on this build. i searched on the internet and i just find roadhouse exhaust and sharktail, but i dont find a pair like these (who just have 1 straight tube each side). I dont like the roadhouse because the system have 2 pipe at the right and 1 at left. Do you know the name of your exhaust system ? BTW your bike is nice
Would you mind sharing the model number of the baddad fender kit you purchased? When I contacted them they said they didn’t have anything to fit the roadstar.
Bad Dad doesn't make roadstar stuff now. I just bought bags but from Tom Lento Punch. I don't know if he has anymore but you can find him on Facebook, roadstar clinic. Was $750 shipped for bags and fender just like these, no exhaust cut outs.
I have a 2005 RS Midnight Special Edition ,, I've been looking for dual exhausts ,, what is the name/model /brand You have on that magnificent Beast ,, they look and sound like what I"d be looking for ,,,
I love it ! only thing I would do different is led the headlight bulb and mini apes in place of the drag bars. other than that I would've done it the exact same way. great idea on the front brakes and the street glide fender. still have this bike ?

I've seen some awesome metric cruisers but my requirements were, It Must Be Air Cooled & It Must Be Chain Or Belt Driven, The RoadStar was just what the Dr ordered & yours is another one that proves my switch is a good move:)
Awesome bike! I have a 99 Roadstar that I want to put a batwing on with a stereo and possibly a Harley front fender. I like that squared off look more than I like the factory Roadstar fender.

How hard is it to mock up on a Yamaha or did it fit as it is.
Is this the backrest you put on your bike? I'm unsure which ones will fit with the Bad Dad fender.

did you find it difficult figuring out which accessories would fit and which wouldn't? can you buy kits to make most parts universal?

I put a Corbin seat on my '99 last year. Looks nice, orig. is more comfortable though. Corbin is a ball crusher!
