I watched other streamers playing FFA on huge maps with dozens of players. And it was interesting, because it was the whole another game. It was much closer to starcraft in spirit. Essentially, the goal shifts towards accumulating huge banks and building a lot of construction buildings, so that one can quickly go to 100 limit from 50 or 80 with the units necessary to fight a particular opponent. Getting levels on heroes does not matter much as you will anyway have 10-10-10 large part of the game. Politics such as avoiding fights and many other interesting new features, that you do not normally see in 1v1 games.

As a spectator of the sport, long time fan of Grubby, and above all, as a fan of WC3 since the beginning of time, I had really looked forward to the game's refresh and was genuinely excited at the prospect of the "improved" game visual with Reforged graphics which I thought* would breathe new life into an otherwise aging game.
While it is certainly not a fault of Grubby (Obviuosly not) that he is choosing to play with classic graphics due to whatever reason, it damn sure is disappointing that the game in its current state doesn't encourage playing with the improved graphics in any meaningful way.
I'm not trying to bring negativity to the already dead topic of how much a fail Reforged was to us fans and the community bla bla, but it sure as hell would have been nice to have Grubby stream his always exciting content with the new visuals after having watched him for the last 10 years with the old graphics, let alone after 18 years of spectating/playing this game we all love.
Lately, I find myself watching less and less WC3 content and it's not because I like the game any less, but rather from a sheer disappointment at the fact that Reforged did absolutely nothing significant to Warcraft 3 and the scene. Flame me, disagree with me all you want, but this is how I truly feel. Thanks for listening and I hope you will have a good rest of the week folks.

Reforged sure did something for me, it made me interested in war3 again, then made me learn about the game, then made me play it again. :) I agree with you that more was advertised than actually what was sold, but I'm expecting positive changes in the future. I Love the game, I get frustrated a lot with it as I'm learning it and it's the start of a journey to me. If it wasn't for Grubby I would not be as interested into it, but Reforged surely gave something to me :) I wish you a nice week as well man!
i have found this channel lately so i guess reforged did one thing good and i dont even play the game but i have found entertaining to watch grubby play
I hate me for being such a lore freak that watching Night Elves hire Goblins in WC3 games just feels wrong. No self-respecting Night Elf would let Shredders just run loose on their lands, tearing the forests apart and belching toxic fumes. I get that for the actual game it plays well, just me that has the problem with it!

You should really just stop mining your main, with all your protectors. So when the late game comes, you have a full mine that will be really hard for the enemies to destroy.

If so I would've liked to see her rather than KOTG & lots of staffing to & from base for mana.

I'm so sorry that the annoying topic of graphics just won't end for Grubby.
If you like these childish graphics, you should play them yourself! In my opinion, it makes fast playing totally impossible and that's exactly what Grubby wants to show here: Great games and tactics and not nice waves and senselessly animated animals!
Apparently Grubby can't please anyone. When he plays with his "great" new graphics and loses, he is mocked. But if he plays with the old graphics, it's not right either.
Anaheim etc. have shown that the new graphics are NOT suitable for competition.
No one is forced to watch here or anywhere else!
Why play with the ugly graphics? Because you refunded the reforged?
