Just as a reminder The Chautauqua Co. Antique Equipment Assoc. will have a plow day this Saturday May 14th starting at 9:00 in Stockton, N.Y. near the corner of the Stockton/ Hartfield Rd and Bowen Rd behind the Stockton Township Highway barns. This is a short distance from our club grounds on Cemetery Rd. This event was rescheduled from last Saturday. From the four corners in Stockton head west on Railroad Ave that becomes the Stockton/ Hartfield Rd.
Nothing sounds better than a letter series Farmall purring. Can you imagine back in the day sitting on a Johnny Popper having to listen to the popping and banging all day? Really took a strong back and weak mind to buy a Johnny Popper back in the day. Farmall was so far ahead.
That is the perfect setting on that two bottom plow and farmall H is pulling it really well and the perfect depth, and I think my grandfather had a two bottom plow exactly the same thing and the year was a 1941 two bottom plow 👍👍
I enjoy watching your old farm equipment work ! There are not too many people still doing this out there . It's still wet for me to do any tilling . I'm hoping maybe Thursday or Friday it will be dry enough . Thanks for sharing and have a great evening !
Just a little bit more to know on that little genius plow than the ones I used to run . Which was pull the hydraulic lever lol . Great video as always Geno !
Farmall Fanitic :) that nice plow and Farmall H 1949 one drove years ago was 1945 Farmall H basic model row crop too! Funny part my neighbor has Farm Hand tires back with Good Year and tractor fully restored this winter except 12 Volt Negative ground with 1978 GM Delco Alternator 100 amp it got new Cooper tires on front and back wheels ! Why rebuilt because clutch get old also need transmission rebuilt plus motor did lots acres in time ! Want fun part he bought off Farmall dealership in our area in 1972 when first got worked at General Motors in Oshawa Ontario plant plus stills farm no animal since 1979 and does cash crops also retirement of GM in 2013 ! Farm still today 2500 acres owns only 850 out 2500 rest rents ! Also that Farmall H he got me rebuilt up with paint plus decals put on !
Might be a good idea to pickup a 2 bottom Oliver or IH and some more little genius! Parts parts parts! Also wearing a hat is a must when driving tractor lol
My father and I are going to a plow day on the 14th of May this year in Stark NH across from the old POW camp. We will be plowing with a farmall 400 and a John Dear 3 bottom plow on steal. Last time the we used that plow it did not go into the ground so after making adjustments we hope it plows better.
All action. Red power 💪💥 good bit of ploughin 👍 I've just landed a couple of of acres to plough with my Doncaster built international B250 and international B200 plough which was one of the first international ploughs built for the 3 point hitch usin a lot of the parts that were used in their trailing ploughs 👌 great video 👍
I saw black smoke, is the carburetor set rich, sounds like it is. The rim of the rear wheel should be at ground height when wheel is furrow and pulling.
Started with an H and little 2x16 plow dont know what the number was looks like that plow. Only it wasnt painted nice like that. It was a rustic grey faded
@@FarmallFanatic Dad used a McCormick 2 bottom behind his. Don't recall the model number. That's been almost 50 years ago. I do remember it had 14 inch bottoms.

Ahahahahahahaha no I can't imagine that
I learned to plow back in the mid 50's with an old AC and a plow like this, enjoyed the video
I love to watch your videos showing how these old tractors can still do a great job of plowing and working your fields. 🚀👍🏻
Cheers from Indiana. Working on getting my Papaw’s old H and M running so appreciate the motivation.
It's a good time

It's all eye sight adjusting...easy peasy
I love seeing these old Farmall tractors being used. Reminds me of using my dad's I'll 130 to plow with.
130s are nice 👌
Now that's the way to plow, turning in over good job
That H always sounds soooo gooood!
Great video! I brought home my 48 H 2 weeks ago!
Excellent 👊
@@FarmallFanatic I wish you could see my fleet! Done a few odds and ends on the H and picking up a set of fenders on Saturday
Farmall H and a 2 btm turning dirt, brings back a lot of great memories of 40+yrs ago, Red Power💥💥💥

Hello looks like plowing okay 10" maybe to deep but looks great Gino. Have a great night
I made adjustments n got it zoned in
@@FarmallFanatic That's cool you have a good night. Would take you phone one of these days
Looked like you got it working fine!
She turnin'
Doesn’t matter what color it is, but a properly setup plow is a thing of beauty!
Boom! Mount up! Nice getting it going again.
Regulators! 🤣
I'm 13 and got a two bottom international with the same looks as your exepet the wheels and I have a mccormick deering w4 standard 1945 here in ny
Nice 👊
@@FarmallFanatic thank you
How do you get the plow to follow right straight with the tractor like you have? I'm very new still with my plowing. I keep trying tho.
The plow furrow wheel and tractor furrow wheel are lined up perfectly
Ok thankyou
I'm 13 and just got my first h here in delaware
That's awesome 👌
Congratulations Mary👍👍👍

Great combo! I might have to get a plow like that for my H. Don't see many around here though..
There's one for sale in Stillwater, PA
Does it have to be a certain depth?
I always figured 8"
@@FarmallFanatic 👍
Wow Wee digging deep!! 😆 Great video! Unfortunately my Little Genius is so whipped it's just a lawn ornament with flowers around. 😆
Parts lol
Do you have to steer at all with that wide front or does the tractor just track along with the furrow?
Very little
@@FarmallFanatic oh man... I might fall asleep by the time I made it to the fence row if I had a fancy setup like that
Nice tractor !
Your so damn smart with these 🚜 🚜 🚜. Great job

Keep up the good work I’m gonna plow with my farmall m diesel for the fist time

Farmall/red power auction in Ripley next week. Just a heads up
Chesley?

My dad had a 3 furrow with a seed planted box on top , planted 2 rows of potatoes for years & years 👍🏻🥔
Playing in the dirt is one of my favorite activities.
I wait all winter
When are you going to have "corn binder" video ???
Fall
nice plow. I think i like it being pull instead of pick up.
Definitely older school
Could you tell me the row spacing for a 2 bottom plow like yours I’m buying one for my H but I don’t know what wheel spacing to set it to
Twenty five and a half inches from the center of the p t o shaft to the inside edge of the right tire
@@FarmallFanatic thanks man I appreciate it RED POWER BOOM 💥
Red Power 💪❤️ parts need special care today .
( Hi McCormick)
I could smell the dirt all the way over here on Ohio.
What should my tire spacing be if I have a 1948 H
25.5" from center pto to inside edge of tire for 2x14s
Good video good job man
you don't have a plier pouch?
Yea my pants pocket

No tractor sounds better than the old h and the 300 tractor engine in little pull that was quality manufacturing back then
It sure was 👍

I like your videos but I thought you would know more about running and setting a plow after all that you have done.
Did you watch the video?
Plow couldn't have been set any better
@@FarmallFanatic yes I did, that’s why I commented.
So the plow wasn't set right but the dirt turned like butter 🤔 ok
H stands for Hercules! 💣
Third gear?
Yes
👍👍
Your Super C should pull that plow just fine. The C my Dad had would pull a 2 bottom no problem.
Tomorrow's video will prove it...indirectly
@@FarmallFanatic Dad used a McCormick 2 bottom behind his. Don't recall the model number. That's been almost 50 years ago. I do remember it had 14 inch bottoms.
You need to check that with a tape its probably7 inches deep
I definitely will

Y not
Too much downtime on your video: motormouth, piddling around with equipment adjustments and camera.
