Sophia Jungling, UNI Track and Field Senior 2024

Wrapping up her 4th season with the UNI track and field program, Sophia Jungling gets focused on a future in sports. Her UNI career started with earning All-MVC honors as a freshman in the 800, the DMR, and 4x4. 4 years later she was the 800 meter runner up at the indoor meet behind Bradley's Julie Nielsen who's on pace to compete for the Swedish Olympic team in Paris. Sophia did stand on the top of the podium in 2022. She came away with a time that surprised even herself to win the 800 conference crown. While at UNI, Sophia always worked for UNI Athletics marketing team the last two years.
