Key part about this on a razor specifically is that you can only adjust the preload spring about an inch per the owners manual recommendation. If you go higher or lower than their recommended measurement, you could damage your U joints in the drivetrain. The higher you make it you’re changing the geometry for for the driveshaft’s going to each wheel and you change it too much. You could wreck a lot of stuff underneath there. I just raised mine an inch and maxed it out since it was sitting kind of low And I think I need new springs since it’s a 2012.

Does preload affect the width of the vehicle?

No, changing your preload will not change the width of the vehicle.

So when setting ride height, aside from your gear, do you prefer setting with or without normal passenger load? Thanks for the video!

Thanks for the great question! You can get some people loaded in and set the ride height that way, but really making sure you have all your gear and a full tank of gas is fine.

2019 2 door polaris general with 30" tires what should my my ride height be for trail riding when setting after installing zbroz spring kit?

That spring kit should add 1 - 2 inches to your ride height. So if your height is at the stock 11.75 inches front and 11.25 inches rear, then you should be between 12.75 -13.75 in front and 12.25 - 13.25 in the rear. This does vary depending on the gear or after market products you have on your ride.
