A little about Fashion and Style Edit
I launched fashion and style edit just over a year ago and it's been one amazing adventure ever since. I hoped to put all my years working in the fashion industry to good use. How to style outfits and advice and fashion tips on how to get the most out of your own capsule wardrobe. I love discovering new brands, designers and affordable high street fashion, but I always veer towards the more sustainable fashion and ethical brands. I love the fact the the Polene bags still retain their shapes with all the items that you place inside. They do look classy! Can’t choose… too lovely!
That's so true Myriam:) I was looking at mine the other day actually and thinking how well they've all lasted, they look as good as new! And I'm not particularly gentle with my bags either, they just have to fit in with my normal life, I do really rate this brand:) x

Thank you beautiful Jessica! I vote.for the light pink bag because it is different. Or the larger saddle bag in chaulk because it's more functional. Please can you do a tutorial on how you curl your hair some time; it's the right amount of curl.

Haha making this video was tough, I could happily have bought them all! X
I finally switched over to a small wallet (purse), to make it easier to use smaller bags. It’s one of the few things I always carry (plus keys, phone, lipstick/balm, tissue and sunglasses), so I make sure that these basics fit in all my bags. I have had losses during the pandemic ($200 cash once!) when I just put some cards, cash and license in my bag, so I always use my wallet now. Evening bags can be a bit smaller, no sunglasses needed.
Also a fan! I also had a great experience at their store in Paris. My friend and I bought a bag each and we just had a great time that we went back the next day and bought another
What a practical video.Nowadays when I buy a bag my intention is have a bag that can transcend occasions as well as outfit choices and Polène has that nailed.
Everytime I look at the website or see them in videos I imagine an all female design team behind it because the bags are so well designed that there has to be a woman behind the brand.What a laugh it would be if it were the opposite.
Numero Un Nano is my fave! I have it in smooth camel color. Their quality is excellent.

Very nice review! Good to see someone who has the same passion for this brand. My heart skipped a beat when I saw this bag for the first time.
My first was Numero Un in monochrome black , love it so much!
Then I ordered Un mini in pale pink, it’s actually move peachy nude like ballet slippers. Very feminine and versatile . I am going to keep it for spring summer.
And now ( I know, it’s sounds insane) I ordered Un mini in blue with suede
So my verdict - Numero Un is my favorite .

I discovered Polene from watching your videos and your Instagram posts. The various designs have such beautiful shapes, the choice of colours and leathers are lovely. I treated myself to a Numéro Un in the black textured leather and it has been love at first sight 😍I have been eyeing the mini version in a camel colour. I was torn between Numero Un and Numero Un mini (Sable) eventually ended up buying the Numero Un - monochrome Gris simply because I was too scared of the suede discoloration after using it..and I am so happy I bought the monochrome gris... 🤩😍🤩 best buy ever!!! Now eyeing the Neuf - Chalk😁

Rainy Sunday Holiday weekend here in the USA but my Jess is a bit of sunshine. I luvd the Number two toned 7 since you carried it in your previous videos. Have to search where Polene is sold in the USA. Lovely bags and video
My choice would be numéro un mini in grey textured leather 🥰
I would think about two things when selecting which bag to keep. 1) Which one will you get more wear out of. 2) Which one would fill a gap in your current bag/purse wardrobe. Both are choices are lovely. I love the whole collection. Would be nice to be able to access from Canada.

Beautiful selection Jess! If you can have all of them you're set with any and every outfit! The Chalk Hobo bag would be my preference for you, not the the other isn't just as lovely, but for me personally the chain all the way round, usually ends up hurting my shoulder. If it had a small leather piece where it sits on your shoulder, then I would get both haha! Have a lovely weekend Jess! xxx

they DO offer a small leather strap for all mini colors! Just email Polene's customer service and you can buy through them. It's not available on their website.

Hi. Jess! Sorry I haven’t been commenting. I’ve been ill the last two Sundays to the point that the pain was so debilitating I couldn’t walk.As I have several chronic illnesses it’s not unexpected but is still an inconvenience. Anyway, I love this brand Polène. It is so chic and has a unique and identifiable look. Of course I want the Numéro Un in a rainbow of colors! I like the mini and nano as well. I think I’ll start with the black and go from there. Thanks for highlighting the boutique brands. They are all so dreamy! Wonderful review Jess! The numero Un is next on my list, I’m just a bit concerned that the sand color I like has the flap part made in suede, I’m worried it will easily get dirty 🤔

I’m not hugely precious about my handbags, I have 3 boys and real life must go on! And everything I’ve ever had from Polene looks as good as new. Even the tote bag which I have a tendency to over stuff still looks beautiful. I don’t know how they’ve done it but they never seem to scratch? I am glad I have found your channel yesterday and I started watching your videos. You are so chic and elegant... I like the design of Polene bags. But most of the YTbers I follow showcase the Senreve bags they've been gifted. Have you not been gifted by a Senreve bag yet. Could you also do a review to compare which is better between the two?
Oh and I would pick the mini. I wish the hobo fit more.

Hey Jess, they are very lovely bags aren't they 😍. I wish I could afford one, mind you I'd be afraid to use it for fear of scuffing it so it's just as well I can't have one! I prefer the mini but having said that I think you should have the hobo as it suits your casual but classy style. Hope you're having fun in the sun, it's wonderful isn't it? x
Personally I won’t wear a big bag with a long strap because I tend to put in more items mindlessly (and it get heavier) and a longer strap also means the bag would feel heavier as opposed to one that’s a shoulder bag carried closer to the body. So it’s either a long strap small to medium sized bag or a big tote bag/shoulder bag to be comfortable!
I love the numero un mini version. Love the gray! The tote bag is really nice, but too big for me!

If you had to choose between the Numero Un Nano and the Numero Un Mini which would you recommend, taking into account cost per wear, space, wearability etc? Thanks, Polene is going on my wish list for my next time I can justify a designer handbag!
I have had my eye on Polene for a while now,å. I think I will reward myself very soon. Love Mini and numero uno 💖 but can you fit a water bottle in there or sunglasses case? Otherwise just need to carry and extra cotton tote bag inside for going to movies and such.:)
I think I would choose the small Numero Un, only because I’m not a fan of deep bags, like the hobo. I find it easier to retrieve things from bags that are more landscape than portrait, so to speak. Thanks for this review, it’s really helpful. I love the one that’s the hexagonal bucket shape, but I don’t know if I would like a drawstring closure.

Great video! Thanks. To be honest I have just bought the numero sept in grained black leather rather than the numero dix! Shame your video has just been posted. If I were to buy an additional bag at some point could you let me know a little more about the numero dix „hobo“, the zip and entry area in and out of the bag doesn’t look practical. For example, how easy is it getting your phone out of the bag when it is ringing? Is it a very stiff leather and opening?

Thank you for this review Jess I have wanted to pull the trigger on one of these bags for at least two years but I’m such a fuss pot and love to see things in the flesh. The No. 1 always looks like it’s ‘gurning’ to me with its bottom lip over its top one 🤣 my faves are the Cabas, 8 and the new 10. Is the 10 lined please? Also your advice on colour is the camel easy to look after please as I’m guessing it is paler than a tan - thank you 🥰

How soft is the leather? And how is the weight? I’m so over some of the pebble textured leather purses that are stiff and feel very heavy before you even put anything in them. They are all beautiful

Does the taupe color of Polene goes well with most colors and outfits, including all black outfits?
It looks quite light compared to website, so wonder how versatile it is.
