Wow thank you for sharing your tip about hot glueing the rainbow together . I've seen it done with a needle and thread .I am loving the hot glue ..most more simple ..so pretty 💜
@@alysadarrah6210 you’re going to be lying way more than $14 for the materials though lol so why not shop small and support small businesses anyways :)
Lunar Witchy thank you so much! I do Pam to keep teaching. Life has been so busy that it’s been hard to find a quiet time (when having children) to make a video!but I will keep making them and I will be posting another tutorial in a day or two! Stay tuned:!
Thanks for this, you made it really simple! It would be really useful to know how much (in mm) of each cord was used for the final product so I know how many I can make from a roll. Planning to do this for a Skype craft session with friends!
id like to do this for a large group for a sorority moms weekend project. Im trying to price materials. How much of each material do I need for one small rainbow?
Thanks for sharing this cute tutorial! Any suggestions on an alternative to hot gluing each section of the rainbow together? I just felt like the hot glue caused mine to have a less ‘neat’ finish.
I made these and they are super cute! I did have issues with the hot glue showing, and I put a very small stripe down the middle. Is there another glue you would recommend that wouldn't look as messy? I am not a sewer so would need a glue option.
Lava stone is awesome for soaking in essential oils, slowly releasing the fragrance. A wood bead would work as long as it is in its natural form (no stain, paint, coating of any kind). 🙂
This is lovely and you deliver a great tutorial - Thank you! I notice that you are one of the few that do not use wire to reinforce the pieces? Any reason?
@@leighahennington6958 you can just put a knot in the yarn. With a needle you can put the end of the yarn in the rainbow. I'm not sure if I explained it correct. English is not my language.
This is too cute! The only thing I'm worried about it the hot glue. I have a tendency to make a mess with hot glue. Do you think hand stitching it together would be a good alternative?
You're very welcome! I absolutely love all of your tutorials and your macrame cord is such high quality. I definitely look forward to ordering more. For Christmas my mom got me a pair of your gold scissors and a fringe brush, needless to say I'm on cloud nine!
I learned my lesson with hot glue when my art project melted apart in the back seat of my car one hot summer day LOL ...I would sew this one if I hung it in my car. It's super cute
When will your fringe brush be back in stock? And where can I find the 9mm cord you used? I don't see it on your website. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial!!

First one I’ve seen without wire! Love it
We live in Utah and just ordered from you. My little girl is soo excited to make rainbows for her little shop. Thank you for the turorial!

Thank you for this!! Short & sweet with clear instructions. LOVE!
I like how you teach ppl how to do macramé. Simple! Pretty! Craft!
I can't wait to make these!
I love how simple they look to make!
Wooow u sound just like Kendal Jenner 🤩❤️ thank you for the tutorial... it was super easy to follow for a beginner like me
So pretty, and very well explained. I only wish you'd said "millimetres" instead of "mm" all those times 😄
Me too haha
😂😂😂😂😂
Excellent video, I appreciate it. It looks great x
This is so cute! I was looking for a tutorial to make a baby mobile with this design and this will work perfect. Thanks so much 🥰
Did you make it? That’s what I was planning on doing with this design.
beautiful! The video instructions were so clear and easy to follow. Thank you.
These are so much easier than I imagined thank you
Great work you teach with very eassy method
I cant believe how easy this is 😂
And peeps on Etsy sell them for $14… 💀
@@alysadarrah6210 because of the time and materials lol duh they need to make profit

Love the tutorial! Curious how the hot glue would stand up to temperature shifts in vehicles though
Loved this tutorial. Thank you for sharing. Its so cute and I love that you can use essential oil on the bead. 😍
That was fabulous! Thanks so much ❤️
Absolutely adore your colour choices here. Thank you for the tutorial 🥰
Do you find the hot glue eventually comes apart? I feel I always have trouble when I hit glue things and it comes apart

Just do a 'practice', wrap your thick cord with the coloured cord, cut when you reach the end unwrap and measure
You made it it so simple ❤ loved it😍✨
love this😍
Can you tell me any Amazon link similar products of the cord? That would be very nice because I am from Germany and the links don’t work
Brilliant tutorial! Thank you so much! ❤️
Like the music and so easy to follow! Thank you!
Thank you!!
Love it.. so easy to follow your steps! thank you🌸
Such a great tutorial! Thank u so much!!🤗🤗
Thank you for this helpful tutorial! As the link does not work anymore, could you say how thick cord you used? Inner part seems 9mm thick
this is so cute and I love your step by step instructions :) Thank you for making it so clear and easy to follow as it's much appreciated!
So cute!
It's so nice, cute 😍
I just love this so much!
Hi! About how much cord did you use for each section?
How beautiful
Hi will you be getting your store back 😁
Adorei! Que trabalho lindo! Muito obrigada por sua disponibilidade e carinho ao ensinar.
Sucesso!
Super adorable! Thank you!
Nice
AWWWW SOOOOO CUTEEEEEEE!!!! IM GOING TO TRY ONE FOR ME!!!!!!!
Awesome 👏🏼 🤗🤗
This is quite cute!

What type of hot glue do you use? Mine always shows alittle after it dries no matter how careful I am.
Where do you buy such big rolls? 😎😬
Is that 9mm cord supposed to be twisted ? I’m trying to find it at micheals
Is the colored string 3mm?
Very good❤️❤️❤️
great video thank you!
How cute love it
So pretty 🥰
so is hot glue the only type of glue that works best for this?
How would you attach this if you wanted to add this to a hoop? If you wanted to have it with the fringe and maybe different knots besides it?
Thank you, love the colours.😉
Wow so easy
Hi are the larger spools of 3mm spun tighter than the smaller spools?
How much macrame cord do you think this would use? Trying to put a cost analysis together and I have no clue how to calculate it lol
cool
I love this!!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing this cute tutorial!
Any suggestions on an alternative to hot gluing each section of the rainbow together? I just felt like the hot glue caused mine to have a less ‘neat’ finish.
You can sew it together with a fine needle and thread at the back of the rainbow.
@@Monstera9599 Thank you!
@@Monstera9599 sewing? How lol the person must be an expert to sew this man
@@Its.savedie You don't have to be an expert to sew. Especially when it's at the back of a rainbow it doesn't have to be neat.
Quick question about the glue does it leave any marks?
So cute ♥️😊
what scissors did you use??
I made these and they are super cute! I did have issues with the hot glue showing, and I put a very small stripe down the middle. Is there another glue you would recommend that wouldn't look as messy? I am not a sewer so would need a glue option.
I turn mine over and glue along the back. It never shows up in the front that way!
I'm so going to try this!
what is the name of the white rope? where can i buy it please
Love it!
Wheee you buy your cord?
Can you use 3mm for the base or just 9mm?
When I used a hot glue gun, I had glue escaping and glue marks. Any help would be appreciated. Ty
Thank you 🙏
Great job why are these popular right now!
Love this , thank you for sharing
What is the difference between a lava stone and a wood bead? Which is better?
Lava stone is awesome for soaking in essential oils, slowly releasing the fragrance. A wood bead would work as long as it is in its natural form (no stain, paint, coating of any kind). 🙂
Hi i am 11 and I wanna do this can u use normal macrame cord ??
Gracias, me encantan tus trabajos!
Muy hermoso gracias
mm stands for millimeters... ;-)

Where can I get the colored cords? The link expired
How long would you say it took to make 1 rainbow?
So cute ! Love how simply you broke it down. Is there a difference between using macromae string vs yarn ?
Yes big difference! Macramé string makes your product look more high-quality And Yarn makes it look cheaper
I personally like the yarn look better but I think it depends on everyone's preference!
I feel like yarn is “fuzzier” than macrame if that makes any sense
@@abigailconlon3147 Agreed. Yarn has a fuzzy appearance. I guess it depends on what final look you’re going for. Both can turn out nice. 🙂
Where do you buy your cords?
so cute! how do you keep the glue from getting stringy/spilling over the sides?
I’d love to know if there’s an alternative to hot glueing each section to give it a more ‘neat’ finish.

Yes. Hand stitch would even look really good. I just used hot glue because I wanted to make the easiest tutorial that anyone could make:)
You did a GREAT job! I had no idea how simple they were ! The rainbows have always intimidated me, because they look so intricate.

When will your fringe brush be back in stock? And where can I find the 9mm cord you used? I don't see it on your website. Thank you for a wonderful tutorial!!
You can use a dog or cat soft brush. They are basically the same thing.
Sorry for the late response! The 9mm cord is back in stock along with the macrame brush! HolmMadeMacrame.com
Can we use cotton wick instead of cord
For bigger rainbows do you recommend wrapping multiple strands of cotton cord with one color or purchasing chunkier rope? (i hope that makes sense)
Yes that makes sense! You can do either! It’s easier to have the chunkier rope but if you do not have any then wrapping a lot of cords will work too:
Where else can we get the 9 mm chunky rope? Looks like you’re out of stock on it.
Chunky rope is back in stock in my website!
Donde compra el hilo? Hay unos que son como mechas de trapeador y me gusta los que usó usted. Gracias por responder.
I see the scissor link is not working- what brand scissors are these or does anyone have any to recommend?
I didn’t realize it was that easy lol
Do you know when you'll restock your chunky 9mm cord? Or is there somewhere else I can buy it?
Nine MM is restocked!
What size string did you use to hang this?
