Like you know when you take the yarn and put it over your hook to make like a single crochet for example I was doing that except I was putting the yarn under If that makes any sense but it actually worked out fine and I didn’t need to restart it it came out really pretty
Thanks for the tutorial! I'm a lazy crocheter, so I'm going to just use a black and red variegated yarn and crochet the black & red rectangle like the plain ones.

I changed the design for some parts as I have been crocheting for about an year, but the rest I copied step by step and I'm obsessed!! It took me 2 whole months but it was worth it!! Thank you so much!

I had been doing this for 1 year and some days ago finally I finished it. I can't even express how much I'm happy and grateful with you for making this amazing tutorial. Thank you so much
I've been working on it since Harry's House came out. I am almost finished! I have a few ends to weave in, the button band to crochet, and the buttons to sew on. I've ripped it out so many times😐 and I have red, houndstooth, orange, yellow, black, AND blue squares ( because my dumb eyes thought that some of the black squares in Harry's cardigan were blue! ). But I am SO ready to be done, and actually wear my mess of a cardigan!😅
Me and my friend made this together and we took a good 3 months because this was the very first time we have ever crocheted🤣. But it was so much fun to do🥺🥺❤️❤️. Thank you so much for this tutorial. The cardigan turned out way better than we could have ever expected💞💞
I can’t believe it but finally just finished the cardigan!! After three months of crocheting (with some breaks in between as I was writing my master thesis). I’m really happy with the result! It was so much fun crocheting it as well!!
omg i finally finished this i’ve been working on it for like a month lol. thx sooo much for the tutorial. it’s the first thing i’ve ever crocheted and i’m honestly rly impressed with the result ☺️
I started doing the cardigan at the end of September and let me tell you it takes a lot of time. I started university this year so it won't go as fast as I planned it to be but I'm slowly proceeding in the right direction... just seeing the majority of rectangles done makes me relieved and keeps me motivated that I'm doing a great job. Anyway, I'll come back when it's finished, hopefully in less than a couple of months! Ps. Your explanations are so clear and easily understandable, never found a better video with this level of detail and attention to every single aspect involving the cardigan! Well done, really! ♡
@@maryum3439 Hi! Unfortunately it's not done yet, but I'm just a few rectangles, a collar and 2 cuffs away from the final result! I wish I were faster, but free time is something I'm always lacking in my life ahahah Anyway, I suggest you a 3-ply yarn to have a more like fluffier and softer cardigan, otherwise it would be like too thin, but that's just my opinion! Hope you're proceeding well too or if you're about to start, well, good luck then! Let me know if you need something, I'll be glad to help you out!

Started this cardigan in August, put it off, and came back to it about a month ago. I’m almost done putting it together. I’m so excited! Plus the weather is perfect now for it now. Love your videos!
Thanks so much for this video! Im learning how to crochet and noticed how all the square use different stitches, youre really good at explaining and showing the different methods and im learning so much!
I'm gonna add 1cm to every side if that makes sense? I'm a medium but I want it to be v oversize so 1cm for each square (making them 11 by 15cm) and then sewing it. you could just increase the width of them though, making the rectangles more square if u don't want it to be any longer? but i don't think it messes with the rest of the cardi - tho I've not done it yet haha
i just finished my cardigan ! thank you for teaching youre so talented. ik this took so much time but ty for your time! you make everything so well. i wouldnt done so well without ur video! thank you!
@@nizza_2965 it took me about a month and a half in total but i messed up a few times so had to restart some squares :( it’s totally worth the time though!!
Hi! I wanted to put a comment with how my own cardigan went and how helpful this video was!! (This was my first ever cardigan I've made. It took overall about a month mainly procrastinating from putting it all together occasionally and redoing parts until I liked it.) The squares that are made in the video are the same ones I put on mine. Though I think I ended with some extra by accident, they look really nice on the cardigan! The amount was pretty much perfect! I'm also gonna note, some of my rectangles i did wrong and the sizes between them were not exactly the same... but they do stretch on the cardigan when attaching, so it worked out! At first, I was a bit hesitant that this cardigan would end up too small, but the fitting is actually nice by the end. The method of making the cuffs and hem were really good too. In the beginning I didnt really like the look of the stitching. However, I ended up try to do it the reverse, having the back black stitches show at the front. I personally liked the look, haha. The way they stitch the rectangles and everything was very efficient and sturdy. Nothing feels like it is going to fall off and the way they deal with the tail ends and such is done well. Personally I had used a different method for the blue parts and the collar, but the one here looks amazing, too! This tutorial was one of the best ones I've seen at all, not just for this cardigan, but a crochet tutorial in general !! I wouldn't have been able to do it without this! :) Overall, this tutorial is amazing. The step by steps, process with the cardigan, and even the video itself with it's nice production was wonderful. 10/10, would recommend! If your hesitant on using this video to try it, don't worry and go for it! :)
I'm sorry if I'm being to intrusive but I'm kinda anxious that this won't fit me. But since it fit you can you tell me your size? It's okay if you don't wanna. I just don't wanna waste my time making something that doesn't fit
I know I am late , but I definitely recommend this tutorial , after almost a month and half I finish my cardigan , and i Just wanna clear that the instructions are extremely clear / Se que llegue tarde al trend , pero definí recomiendo el tutorial, después de casi un mes y medio lo termine y quiero aclarar q las instrucciones son súper claras .❤️

I'm not done yet just sewed the front and back hopefully it looks good T^T (edit) I have finally completed my Cardigan and I couldn't me happier:-) It looks so good and I couldn't have been able to do it without this video
i made this for my friend as a christmas present and although i had never crocheted before i was able to pull it off! it came out great, once you get the hang of making the squares everything else comes pretty easy. great tutorial! :D

hi guys so i finished all the patches and hems just to find out that i was yarning under that entire time so basically i have to start the entire cardigan over lmaooo just saying this so yall don't make the same mistake cuz this was my first crochet project and im really annoyed UPDATE: I didn’t need to restart it ended up working perfectly fine and perfect even though i should’ve been yarning over lol
wait wdym yarning under? im like more than halfway done and kinda scared now.. 😀
Exactly wdym?? AHHHH
It’s going to look amazing too! 😍😍😍
thank you thank you so so much for posting a video with ACTUAL tutorials and not just a watch me make it
So happy you liked it!!! I love doing tutorials and helping people get more creative 😍😍😍
I made this for my friend for her birthday and she absolutely loved it! Your pattern was such a joy to follow. I doubted I would be able to do it but I did! Thank you
How long did this take you? (Just curious to see how many days I need to set out lol 🥲)
I have all my yarn ! I’m so excited
Yaaaay! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
What’s the stitch used in yellow yarn called ?
@@purpleshampoo0591 I have used 'half double crochets' for all the rectangles.
i wanna do this but my online school is almost starting
i say just do it even if it takes longer bc you don’t have as much time, it’s gonna be worth it
I want to say, that when I started this, I didn’t knew how to make an slip knot and holy moly I am almost finished with the cardigan!, I made it in two weeks an a half, this video helped me a lot, and I am wearing this to my concert, because I wanted to always, and finally I have the opportunity to go to a concert and wear it
Update: my concert was 2 days ago and I wore it 😭😭😭😭
Wow this is amazing! I am happy that I was able to help! Please don't forget to share some pictures of your make on Instagram! 😍😍
After like 2 months I've finally finished my cardigan and I love it so much! Thank you for this tutorial from the bottom of my heart. I think that I watched it like 100 times, because of how long it took me haha

Thank youu! I saw that cardigan soooo cuteee! 😍😍😍
I made it and it turned out fantastic!!!! Loved your tutorial, I was certain that i would not be able to make it, but I did and it is gorgeous 😍. I changed the design for some parts as I have been crocheting for about an year, but the rest I copied step by step and I'm obsessed!! It took me 2 whole months but it was worth it!! Thank you so much!
awww so happy to hear that! I would love to see it! If you are posting on Instagram do tag meee! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Thank you so much for trying my tutorial! 🥰
I really wanna try this but i feel like i’m gonna mess it up cause I don’t know how to crochet at alllll
I am planning now a crochet to beginner video, maybe that will help! 😍😍😍
Brunaticality Oh yayyy that would be great i think making the squares is not the hard part it’s trying to connect them all that gets me lost even after watching the video and the whole plan i’m still confused
There are a gazillion how to crochet videos on UA-cam. Good luck.
@@ranatamir there are many videos out there showing how to attach squares.....
i just finished mine!!!! like two seconds ago. The amount of times i watched this video is insane. Thanks for all the help
this is THE MOST organized video i’ve ever seen. Every single question was answered. Cant wait to try!
Awwww thank you so much! That means a looooot to meee! 😍😍😍😍😍
so my friend just got me all the yarns I need to make this cardigan for my birthday, now guess what I'll be doing for my winter break XD
Awww that's amazing! 😍😍😍😍
Sameee i think ill start this tomorrow and hopefully i can finish it during my winter break so that i can flex at school wearing this hahah im so excited!
When I go back to school I be flexing with my cardigan (once I make it lol)
@@EvaEliz187 hahah It will look so good! Good luck in your final process, I can assure you it feels the best and so fresh when you finally finish it
Me and my friend made this together and we took a good 3 months because this was the very first time we have ever crocheted🤣.
Thank you. Really helpful. Just finished mine and I love it 🤎 It took forever (25 days!) but it was totally worth it.
I loved the design to so much that I started making mine yesterday. I'm working on the yellow patches, I did about eight yesterday.
Niceeee! Aww thank you! So happy you liked it 🌸💖💕 feel free to share with me! 💛
@@brunaticality omg thanks for responding! And of sure I will definitely try to shares the finished product of the cardigan.♥️
I just finished my cardigan and it looks AMAZING. Thank you so much for the tutorial its one of the most helpful videos I ever seen😸😸😸
How long did it take?
Finally a manual that is easy to understand, I've searched the whole Internet, but couldn't find anything comparable, you're the best, 1000 thanks!
omg i finally finished this i’ve been working on it for like a month lol. thx sooo much for the tutorial. it’s the first thing i’ve ever crocheted and i’m honestly rly impressed with the result ☺️
Heyy
Did you complete it by now?
Can u tell me what size u used like was it 3ply or 2 ply
Pls help
@@maryum3439 Hi!
Unfortunately it's not done yet, but I'm just a few rectangles, a collar and 2 cuffs away from the final result! I wish I were faster, but free time is something I'm always lacking in my life ahahah
Anyway, I suggest you a 3-ply yarn to have a more like fluffier and softer cardigan, otherwise it would be like too thin, but that's just my opinion! Hope you're proceeding well too or if you're about to start, well, good luck then! Let me know if you need something, I'll be glad to help you out!
@@mariacastellano5360 yayy congrats
Haha I’m lazy too😂❤️😬
Yes I’m about to start
Was placing orders for yarn so I thought ask the size🙌
Will update you amd for sure ask for helps😃
@@maryum3439 Ehii I don't know if you deleted the previous comment coz I can't find it, but I got the notification and for what I could read I can honestly tell you you're not bothering me at all! I'm happy if I can be helpful in any way!
What were you asking?
@@mariacastellano5360 hehe oops😂
I actually asked what weight is thiss but I figured it out myself so I deleted the comment
I am going to be making one but each rectangle will be the color of the boys microphones and instead of the red and black one it’ll be the Ireland flag for nialls mic. Can’t wait to start the project!
That’s so cute !! Hopefully it turns out ❤️❤️
Started this cardigan in August, put it off, and came back to it about a month ago. I’m almost done putting it together. I’m so excited! Plus the weather is perfect now for it now. Love your videos!
Was it hard?
Not really. Just time consuming
Thanks so much for this video! Im learning how to crochet and noticed how all the square use different stitches, youre really good at explaining and showing the different methods and im learning so much!
aww so happy you liked the video, thank you 💖💖💖💖
i’m going to make mine on a grey scale cause that matches my aesthetic more
i was thinking abt that too
im in a zoom class rn and all I’m gonna say is I have my priorities sorted😛
Hehehehehehe I love thatttt 😍😂😍😂😍
Would the measurements change if I wore a bigger size. For ex I wear an XL so I don't know if this size would fit
just add more squares and if you have a favorite t-shirt like she had in the video measure it
I'm gonna add 1cm to every side if that makes sense? I'm a medium but I want it to be v oversize so 1cm for each square (making them 11 by 15cm) and then sewing it. you could just increase the width of them though, making the rectangles more square if u don't want it to be any longer? but i don't think it messes with the rest of the cardi - tho I've not done it yet haha
how many balls of yarn do you need for this like color and everything tysm i plan on making this!
Heey ❤️❤️ I have all this info in the description 💕💕
Brunaticality thank you so much!
i just finished my cardigan ! thank you for teaching youre so talented. ik this took so much time but ty for your time! you make everything so well. i wouldnt done so well without ur video! thank you!
awwww thank youuuu 😍😍😍
i’ve literally just finished mine and it looks soooo good, your tutorials the best i’ve seen, thank you
i’m thinking of making one, how long did it take you to make yours ?
@@nizza_2965 it took me about a month and a half in total but i messed up a few times so had to restart some squares :( it’s totally worth the time though!!
How much yarn did it take to make?
Hi! I wanted to put a comment with how my own cardigan went and how helpful this video was!! (This was my first ever cardigan I've made. It took overall about a month mainly procrastinating from putting it all together occasionally and redoing parts until I liked it.)
The squares that are made in the video are the same ones I put on mine. :)
Overall, this tutorial is amazing.

Thanks for the great idea on how to sew the sleeves and put the cuff on. This is one of the best rewatching vids on how to do the difficult parts. Thanks!
I've been making this cardigan since November now.. my patches have somehow become smaller so I had to make changes and add extra rows and columns. I'm not done yet just sewed the front and back hopefully it looks good T^T
(edit) I have finally completed my Cardigan and I couldn't me happier:-)
It looks so good and I couldn't have been able to do it without this video
I've decided to make this for a doll, who's roughly seventeen inches tall, so it's going to be tiny, but cute.
