This is what true passion sounds like. Simply astounding blend and such love expressed in total perfect music. Wow. I'm in tears. I've heard this done with many different choirs but this surpasses all of them. They took a John Rutter piece to new heights and gave this piece of life of its own. God bless these super talented cellists.
Uplifting music! I used to sing this in my Sunday School class when I was very young using the traditional music, DIX. I have always loved the hymns that I grew up with that have started to fade in the last 10 years or so. I have been trying to revive the singing of these hymns because of the wonderful message they convey. In the last few years, I have been featuring a hymn each month that the congregation sings every Sunday for that month, thus making them familiar with the lyrics and the music. The congregation also gets to know the story behind the hymn including the composer and writer. For this month I thought of featuring "For the Beauty of the Earth". While conducting my research, I stumbled on John Rutter's music composition that touched my heart. Was it accidental? I believe it was meant to be. So for this month I will have this wonderful hymn sung using the traditional version and John Rutter's heart-warming music. Our congregation will be thrilled. Praise God! I hope I can get the musical score.
Thank you! This is a beautiful performance of an exquisitely beautiful song. The beauty of the instruments' melody and harmonies, and the moving relationships or patterns among the instruments are all especially evident in the absence of a choir, which makes for added pleasure Everything in this performance is superb. To me, it sounds perfect. I know it takes tremendous skill and much practice to do an ensemble performance of this high quality, and i appreciate it very much that I am able to both hear and see the performance, thanks to UA-cam. I actually listen to this recording of this song at least once every day, and never tire of it, which is quite unusual. Although hymns are usually not my favorite type of music, there is really something very special to this composition. Love and devotion shine through both the melody and the lyrics of it; it is a masterpiece. This music is somehow so joyful that it's quite inspiring all by itself, even without the lyrics.
very angelic - a beautiful heartfelt performance - please keep sharing your gift of music with the world - this world needs more souls like you to heal!
Omg this is one of my favorite song since i was like 8! It's my first time ever listening this song with cellos and I'm in LOVE with the sounds and everything.
You are very good and Rutter is really brilliant! My choir sang "Candlelight Carol" during one of our last performances using a new arrangment. Write this in the search: you will love it for sure! Corale Novarmonia - Candlelight Carol (J. Rutter)
This truly is an outstanding rendition of For the Beauty of the Earth. You can see that they have put and soul into this work and released the best John Rutter version I have ever heard. Thank you, wish you would release a CD of your music.
What a beautiful performance! I just heard of this hymn (not usually well versed with hymns unfortunately) this morning and I would like to use this as the bridal entrance in my wedding as a subtle nod to praise God! ;)
One of my all-time favorite Rutter compositions and this is such a beautiful arrangement and performance of it. I enjoy it maybe even more without human voices and words...the title is sufficient to suggest what you do with it. Beautiful. Thank you.
They are all wonderful cellists and I think some will go far. What is the name of the little guy on the far right? He really seems to love what he is doing!!!
Wonderful! Thank You. Can you contact me because I would like to purchase a copy of your performance and/or be able to download. Can contribute to missions.
Hi John, Thank you for your kind words. First, I must apologize for the late reply. Currently, we share our videos on youtube, and there are ways to download it for your missions initiatives. If you have difficulties, contact us again with your email and we will figure out something. Blessings!
Heartstrings Cello Ensemble I am not able to download this beautiful performance. It is so uplifting to the human race. My e-mail address is johnartus@hotmail.com. Blessings to you all! -----John
@@HeartstringsCelloEnsemble Hi, i just discovered you today and i absolutely am blown away at how Beautiful you all sound. Can i also please get access to the sheetmusic? I would be so grateful! Superb playing... i still habe goosebumps!
Lovely. For two reasons. 1) The words to the hymn are banal. 2) Singers can't quite sing the trills without blurring some of them. But this is no problem for a cello. Rutter's piano accompaniment has been modified unnecessarily , however. And that IS rather good.
Such saccharine sweet and awful music is best used at low volume and pasted under a film as film score, or a kind of genre best suited to sit in the bin alongside "neoclassical pop." It should have a clear warning label for diabetics. It is no surprise, then, that with a completely average bit of learned craft, this kind of writing, and a decent PR push from publishers and a record company behind the product, so many actually believe this is modern, and classical, music. lol.(The Thumbs Down is for the musical content, not these young players.)
Dear Mr Rutter you are the best when it comes to writhing creation music ....my soul is always uplifted 🎉
This made me cry more than human voices did performing this piece of music.
we're practicing this song now with my choir, but man, this ensemble is excellent. so much emotion.

I don't know if Steve Aoki can play piano
