Earth is a terrible world to live in now. Climate change, wars, famine, diseases, poverty and lots of crime. People out there are angry and dangerous out there. I prefer living on Mars if I could. Fuk this planet.

The moment I learned of the solar storms I became concerned for these missions. I’ve been waiting for these missions for years.

I'm happy we are actually ready for the upcoming solar storms and don't have to worry.

Just dig a hole in the ground , then get in it. Under ground in the only protection , all the richey rich people have under ground bunkers. Just ask Jeff. Our ancestors could testify to that. We survived , you get 3 guess's how we survived.

Sooooo when in the years of solar maximum what happens to the heliopause? Does it expand?

Going to Mars would be a one way suicide mission and how anyone would want to go is a total mystery to me.

Indeed, my friend. That 95% carbon dioxide atmosphere is not meant for humans. What water that exists is frozen in the polar regions. We may be able to learn of it's geological and planetary history with our rovers and such but, we ain't gonna live there.

The solar maximúms and cme's , are for some on earth , a painful experienc.
Were one on Mars, genetic damge would be certain and any settlers decenens , would not be able to come to earth - the enviroment ould ill them , as theirs would likely kill us .

Elon should lead the way and go to Mars first

There is more chance Mickey Mouse, Bugs Bunny or any other cartoon character becoming President of the United States than Elon Musk’s Mars plans ever coming true, whether by 2,050 or even by 3,050.

Mars is not now and will not be of any value to humans for centuries, if then. That 95% carbon dioxide atmosphere will prohibit any significant development by humans. Yes, there is frozen water around the polar regions but we would need to develop habitations first and Mars is not a nice place to visit.
