- Today, I install the new Custom Dynamics Probeam Tri-Bar LED light for my Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special. I will show you the comparison of the Harley-Davidson Stock Tri-bar, the first generation Custom Dynamics LED Tri-bar and the Custom Dynamics LED Probeam Tri-bar. Big difference.

Great comparison, Probeam Tri-Bar for sure, major difference, I have the HD LEd lights for under lid on side bags on my Road King, really bright , you can never have to much lights shinning behind you.........

After watching your video, it took about 30 minutes, and I do not have a mechanical bone in my body, (it actually workes). So, if I could do it, I'd say anyone could, only after watching your video. I did it on a Craftsman lift with a headlamp without taking off the saddlebags. Thank you

Great job on the install. The ProBeams look awesome. I installed the CD Saddle bag Sequential lights about a month ago, I love them. You should check them out.
I looked at those too. Maybe, down the road, I’ll pick up a set.
@@Broncoride I ride in Southern California. I have really noticed that the saddle bag LEDs keep the drivers off my rear end 300% more than before. The sequentials are the way to go, they look way cool when you hit the blinkers. Ride On. Keep up the good videos.

You do not need to remove the 7/16 nut. I pulled the stock unit off mine last night to give me room to change out the license plate frame. Just unplug the wiring harness from either side of the unit to give you easier access to the torx screws.

Because the HD tri bar doesn’t come as a “brake light”, merely a running light. Probeam and CD has the capability of making it a brake lights to complement your two brake lights above.
Hello. I bought the custom dynamics led tri bar, I connected it and the lights from the motorcycle do not work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the tri bar works normally.please help.i have a street glide special 2017.

Not a fan. I purchased the pro beam for my 23 Rk and I'm not a fan of the led dots look, I like the solid glow of the stock HD tri bar light but unfortunately HD doesn't make them in brake light mode for my year yet. But when they do I'll be selling these pro beams and going with the HD brand. Hope this helps for those wondering what they look like in person just like I was.

The only complaint I have is the price.
Why do you need to take the nut off. It’s only hold the harness and there is enough length to unplug the plugs from the TRIBAR
I’m confused by your comment. I’m replacing the whole unit.
@@Broncoride no confusion. I did mine with only taking the torque screws off. The nut is holding the harness and the harness cable has enough length to take it off from the old TRIBAR and put it back to the new one.

I can’t fathom why HD didn’t make the stock tri bar light function as a brake light in addition to running. To my knowledge they don’t even offer an HD branded tri bar run/brake, but clearly the wiring is already there… dumb.
I agree. I personally haven’t checked if they have changed that after the 17 models. Seems pointless they don’t do this.
