Thank you for taking us on an interesting journey through your grey sketchbook. The experimental colour combinations are most inspiring. Really enjoyed watching this.
I bought a greybook after your draw tip Tuesday video with the balconies. I must say I love using it. Black pens, dayglo pencils and white pens work for me. But the paper doesn't care for moisture, I find. Thank you Koosje for expanding my horizon❤
Thankyou for talking us through what works most successfully on grey paper…has encouraged me to actually use the grey book I have….which white pencils/pens do you find most effective for the white areas?
Loved the sketchbook with all the experimentation! Especially the sketch with the uncurled paper with the paint marker. The marker on people makes it look like sunlight falling on their bodies.
Thank you for this video and your honesty, I think I psych myself out from working in a sketchbook feeling like every attempt has to be a masterpiece ❤️
The great thing is: it’s just paper - so trying new things is without much risk. If the drawing doesn’t turn out great, you just move onto the next page.
We're all different but my favorites were actually the ones without color, just black white and gray. Like the joy I get when I watch an old movie. Such a vibe!
Thanks for sharing your work, it's inspiring! I'm new to drawing and hope I'll be able to draw like you one day. Do you have any tips on how to get started with drawing?
Drawing a lot will make you more confident and skilled, for sure. Keep going! And about starting a drawing…. How about this video I made a few years ago? ua-cam.com/video/g0EC2kOrYs4/v-deo.htmlsi=-MvROxwLkqhRZvQ2
Love your art so much, even the not so successful pictures. They look very cool in this sketchbook too. Your art is so inspiring to me! Have to look at this again when I have more time ❤
I love the grey book and the play you put into it. I have a small grey paper book that I may try now. I think you tested out the materials for me so I can use some of those ideas to play with myself. Love your stickers!!

Thank you for watching!
My favorite is #10. Love how the semi random color underneath has created a sense of lighting & shadow on the people sitting close to the foreground.
Thanks so much.
Hello Koosje from USA! Thanks again for sharing your gorgeous sketchbooks!💐
Happy to share
Once again one of my favorite pages (the one with the Christmas tree) you consider to be not a great page. I love this sketchbook!
I’m glad at least you like that one 😊

No, it’s not great with wet media, but other than that lots of fun
Really like the pink on grey.
Me too

White crayons (caran d’ache neocolor) and Caran d’ache luminance white colored pencil. Also, Posca pens.

I think we can all get in our heads like that. Glad this was helpful!
Please keep toned paper in some of your projects. It was interesting to see you thinking and working with it. Awesome. Plus i love it.
Thank you!
I like the black and white the most on the grey paper.
Beautiful Koosje. I like the building’s shadows on the people’s backs in the square. Thank you
Thank you
What a stunning tour, I should really try grey paper ☺☺
You could even try with a brown paper bag or something as a toned paper background. Have fun.
@@KoosjeKoene that’s a good idea!
I love love love toned paper, and I love how you used the negative space or added just one or two colors. I'm experimenting with that these days.
It’s fun to look for negative spaces!
SO COOL! 🩷pink phosphorescent acrylic
😊
I like the whole tour. Your chioce of colors was great. I love the simplicity. You give me the courage to try new things. Thank you.
