It also _did_ know how to be serious when the time called for it in most instances, plus it mostly didn't censor death like most kids' anime of the time.

I swear Metalseadramon has to be one of the most underrated foes in Digimon. He one shot Zudomon, Killed Whamon, Nearly crushed Wargreymon to death and was just generally awesome. Now if only he cremated the other 6 while he had em this series would've been over.
The main reason they had an easy time with Metalseadramon and Machindramon was cuz of Wargreymon's Dramon destroyers, which is one of the few things capable of penetrating their armor.
Which is why I beleive Metalgaruramon would’ve had a harder time with Metalseadramon and especially Machindramon. While his fire power is mega level, chrome digizoid armor is on a whole other level that a specific tool (Dramon substances) was needed to combat it. Chrome Digizoid is strong enough to block attacks from even other fellow Mega levels.

When was it ever stated that they were all the same individual? Since neither metalseadramon or the digidestined mention this, it's clear that all seadramons they faced were different entities.

@@andylockhartii1534 sorry just saw your reply: you make a good point but MetalSeadramon being a predator doesn’t make him any less of an idiot. Hell he even said he was tired of waiting and was going to flame the other 6, but he was so busy patting himself on the back he didn’t just do that to begin with. Agumon and Gabumon were the biggest threats as the only ones able to achieve Mega, so not taking them out when he had the chance just made his eventual death all the more deserved.

***** Its funny cuz out of all the dark masters, Metalseadramon was the most "Fair" and "kind" to his subordinates .Unlike the others, he only killed them when they failed him instead of for fun and even rewarded the other one at first.
