I don't think you'll be surprised anymore with seeing these beautiful birds. Southwest is taking over Silicon Valley. My home airport (STL) will be flying to all four Silicon Valley airports come April of 2018 via Southwest Airlines! Sacramento, San Jose, San Francisco, and Oakland.
They will be painting all -700 and -800s. I don't think any -500s. And for the -300s I believe they will paint the ones that won't be retired anytime soon.

This was a really good catch! I didn't know that the tail was shorter on the -300. I always saw them apart with the wings.

I would think all of the 800's and 700's and maybe most of the 300's and probably leave the ones that will be retired soon.
