That's a great question! Renova Energy is definitely the expert on this topic; their link is in the description.

I'm in the industry. pressure washing alone does not clean the panels.

I'm an experienced part 107 pilot and drone builder. I have an industrial drone I'm looking to convert to do this as there's a ton of dirty solar panels in my neighborhood...what sort of setup psi/water purifier would you recommend possibly? I've heard a pressure washer can damage the solar panels if it's too much right, so having someone experienced tell me what they're using would be really helpful. Thanks!

Do you need a truck full of batteries and a generator cause that thing's gonna go through batteries pretty quick.

Looks cool and I see the value proposition but good lord, $40k price tag? Gotta work on getting that down so more can adopt.

I'm thinking maybe using a drone to drop a robot roller brush, and maybe tethered to it might be the more optimal way. Lots of people saying pressure washing solar panels is a nono.

You are correct. I have videos of pressure washing up panel compared to using a mechanical scrubber. The Difference is night and day

If one of my subcontractors pulls up with this crap, he can go home and stay there with his drone. That stuff doesn't do a proper job at all.
If you done it by hand, you know spraying water on them doesn't work and is exactly why we do what we do. These things void the warranty left right and center knowing HP isn't allowed on solar...
Seen plus 100 try it, not a single o e doing a good job.
    Good luck though!

says who? Do you have any facts before coming up with this statement? This is much better than your robotic cleaning system!

@@ngyongxuan7548maybe do some "basic" research and you'll know...
Ps: robots clean with brushes, drones spray water, spraying water doesn't clean, abrasion does...

I have proof that pressure washing doesn't work. Put your money where your mouth is and I'll show you video.

These drones use low pressure, high flow to clean. Not HP! It hooks up to a soft wash skid which allows you to apply an approved solar cleaning solution followed by a deionized rinse. The results come out surprisingly good for a touchless cleaning option and allows you to come in at a lower price point, which in turn can attract a much larger client base.
