Hey man, I have a ktune 3” catless downpipe rn and I daily drive my si and also track it part time and honestly my ears have given up and im planning on putting on the full race catted down pipe to hopefully lower the drone! From this video this has given me hope to give up on my 3”
The fullrace dp will still have a bit of drone but it won't be as bad as the catless. You also won't need hearing aids in the future if you go catted lol. The fullrace is also 3" so you'll still have the max performance gains from a 3" dp.
would the catted full race downpipe work with a q300? i have a yonaka 3 inch but it drones too much and i have a baby on the way so i need a compromise
Ya it works. You can check out my newest vid with my car on the dyno. I had the fullrace dp with a q300. It's a nice sounds but there's still drone to be honest but it's not a loud setup.
@@Yang-gk4fy Full race is better. Less drone than the q. also the q hangs low so you will scrape it over speed bumps. The fullrace on the other hand sits bit higher up. Fullrace sounds a lot better and you will make even more power if paired with a 3" downpipe. the major difference is that fullrace is 3" and q300 is 2.75". Other than that the i believe the q is slightly quieter than the fullrace but the fullrace has less interior drone
Does anyone know, would the fullrace catted downpipe work with the 3inch yonaka exhaust? I don't want to go cattless because I don't care to go catless, and I don't want to deal with the CEL's or anything. I just want a setup that's better performing, sounds good. I like the Yonaka too because the drone isn't too awful, and it's pretty tame driving normal, but sounds good when you give it the beans.
Any downpipe and exhaust will work together but i think the fullrace will still show a CEL because of the larger diameter. If you want a downpipe that doesn't throw a CEL then get a RV6 catted
@@robertgardner4508 flashpro. You can run base map or get tuned. Honestly the fullrace isn't worth it unless you plan on getting tuned. Car may run even worse without a tune. It's .5" larger than the stock downpipe
@@everettblue146 ya i was rubbing a lot. Im lowered on coils and had to roll my rear fenders. Also had to run like -3 camber. I'd recommend going 235 if you want a more flush look
I don't have the rbc, but yes the rbc makes a big difference. you can make an additional 10-15whp with the rbc. I'm making 208whp but I know others who have the rbc and they're making around 218-220 whp.

@@ravdeepsingh5298 ya i found it really droney on the highway in 6th gear but the fullrace isn't as bad. there's still drone but it's bearable. yup rear motor is a must with any 3" downpipep. I have the hasport 70a rear motor mount. i bought mine used so it was already broken into, but a brand new mount will vibrate more during the first few months but it's bearable. honestly once the mount is broken into, the vibrations aren't noticeable. it's only noticeable when you have the AC on
Nah it's not raspy. if you go catless then it'll be raspy. This setup is pretty tame and only gets loud when you really push it pass 3500rpms. I used to have the Invidia N1 and my fullrace is a lot quieter compared to that setup. The N1 was stupid loud. I have another video on my channel if you want to see how the fullrace sounds on the outside.
