      Thank you very much for the honest critique! It is something that I notice in many of my older videos, that I bable a lot or repeat myself often, just to say the same thing or something unimportant. Nowadays I try to at least be aware of that flaw and maybe avoid it more.

    it was Proko interviewing the famous comic artist Tim Gula, actually... it was Tim who did the meditation exercise. i love your drawings, btw. no1 and no3 particularly. i've done quite a number myself now, after watching that video, and for someone who hasn't drawn much of anything besides technical drawings for about 20 years, it's awoken a whole world of imagination for me. i highly recommend it to anyone who feels 'stuck' in any part of your life, no matter what it might be. :)

    • @Nonorama
      @Nonorama  5 років тому +3

      YES Absolutely! Glad you had te same effect :D and thank you for dropping the name of the artist! (It's weakness of mine to remember names...) This exercise is simply amazing. I still do it and I do it a lot while watching Netflix ^^ so after 2-3 nights, I have a finished wobbly bobbly drawing.

      @@Nonorama - the only reason i remember Tim's name so well is because i must have watched that video at least 20 times now. it became a jumping off point for my re-adventuring into drawing, something i have neglected for far too long. i really do believe that what he says about meditative drawing being as important as figure drawing (or whatever it is you prefer to draw), is true... you can access parts of your imagination that would otherwise be out of reach. there is so much to learn from this video (i see you struggling with that pencil technique - oddly enough, i took to it really easily because i didn't know i couldn't [another important lesson]... :)
      what about the idea of putting out a video of your doodles... they can show so much of your process without you having to talk and talk for hours - it's like a direct connection to another person's mind... anyway, it was great fun watching you doing that - have fun with the rest.

    I found your pieces fascinating because I have just discovered neurographic art or neurographica - it is a form of art used to connect your conscious mind to your subconscious mind. And your end piece looks exactly like you’ve followed their algorithm. The practitioners claim this art can transform your daily life. I have been trying to learn more about it. It appears it would help if I spoke Russian. Lol. Thank you for sharing your work!

    Girl just go with the flow. I've been doing this all my life and it's amazing what the results. Just don't think about it just let yourself loose. I tend to put music on.
    In art class my difficulty was being to strict in my artwork. Like things such as anatomy.
    I eventually got it but it feels like I'm two different persons. Idk if this makes sense.
    In those moments you have a picture of it like you say it was a dragon...perhaps go deeper and draw the scales of the dragons and go into fluid movement.

    I have something you might find interesting to share... I have watched people design in one of the most expensive places... they had in front of them, colors, textures, small peices of elements, rock, metal etc etc etc, smooth, rough... when they have this... something stands out... this can become the first layer... go back there may be a second thing that stands out, now see what your hand draws. Another way is to put these texures in a hat on a piece of paper, then pull it out of a selction in the hat. Once you have practiced this a bit, you may start to develop some sophistiocated ideas and become very artisenal - if you become very rich don't forget me lol /\ enjoy your week

    i have been doing this since i was a child.. like ive been DRIVEN by some unknown and elusive "frequency" thats been gripping me all my life- to learn how to "let go" of all thought and receive what it is that comes through.. i still to this day dont know what it is, but i have drawn thousands of drawings and scribbles and i write these "equation like" drawings that i have NO IDEA what they mean.. but i DO KNOW that i can channel this "otherwordly" frequency and have been doing so for as long as i can remember as a child.. lately they i think i have been getting real good at "letting go" of all will and volition and these "stories" are manifesting words about beings from other worlds and i have no idea how im doing it but they ARE genuine automatic writings.. in time, you will see that i am for real.. i have thousands of drawings and writings and it seems that i have succeeded in "letting go" enough to receive this elusive "frequency" that it seems that i have learned to catch a ride with some "mechanism" of the universe and just go with IT.. hard to explain, but i feel i may of detoured off my planned destiny or something.. its just so hard to explain but i am reaching out for answers and that is how i found this video.. thanks.. if you want to contact me, my email is etseal@@t and my @t thanks and hope to hear from you.. when i do, ill send you some pics and i even have many videos of me actually doing the drawings and you can for yourself that i am for real... thanks and have a great day... :0)

    It's like an exercise to overcome writer's block. You just put pen to paper and start writing. It doesn't matter what you write. It's just to get the creative juices flowing. Musicians do it too when they just start playing and come up with a unique melody with which to write a song.

    I tried this but I must have done it wrong because it turned representational fast. After I drew some lines I saw a girl in it and I just couldn't fight it or help myself. The next thing I knew I had drawn a twilight ballerina queen and there were roses everywhere WTF IS WRONG WITH MY HAND
    Anyways, she's really cute though and she would make a great painting so I'm painting her later. But I will keep trying with the just drawing and not thinking thing

    • @Nonorama
      @Nonorama  4 роки тому

      Well, you can always try again and I think it's not a fail or "doing it wrong" when it leads to something representational.
      The initial intention is, drawing with an empty mind, but if it changes during the process...well then it simply did. You can retry later in a different way, there is no harm in using what your subconsciousness created :)
